You can get a really nice full size track bike for that price. I would have had just as much fun on a $3000 Grom that I can also ride on the street.

I have seen these at my local kart track... as they pass me. At 6'3" I opted for a KTM RC390 which my local track allows. Due to the wheel base, My line is a bit different than the Ohvale but its till a ton of fun. If you are seriously interested in something like this at a kart track and are taller like myself, check with your local track you might be able to do something like a little ninja or KTM RC which I feel translates much better to the big track than my supermoto does.

Nice. I'd love a go on a gokart track on my Sinnis RSX 125. With regards to handling she's the best bike i've ever had. You can throw her at anything, any speed and lean her so far over you feel like you're in bed. Honestly, try one of these RSX's. They only do 60 mph but round town they are the most pleasurable ride i have ever had. For anyone thinking of buying one they rattle a bit at 64 mph - that's the only criticism, but you'd expect that. I just stay at 58mph. You gotta try these new chinese bikes honestly.

The ohvales really are the perfect training tool. On small tracks I've found that the 190 is almost too much... the 160 looks to be the sweet spot. At least for most of the kart tracks here in Texas.

    • @TonyGenerali

@@streeturbo21 I race with TMGP so those a really the tracks that I'm referencing. That said, a few of the tracks on the calendar offer memberships that let you ride on select days.
Pretty sure Katy and Speedsportz in Houston both offer memberships. If you're familiar with Cresson, they just finished a kart track. It too is membership based (and is pretty spendy) but they'll let you ride just about whenever. Eleven Motorsports also works out of there and rents Ovhales if you're a member.
North texas karters doesn't let bikes ride outside of TMGP races... which sucks.
You can go north into Oklahoma and there are 2 tracks. 1 south of Oklahoma city and 1 in tulsa. Pretty sure both of them let you ride even if youre not a member for a fee. I have a Few videos racing my Grom on some of the tracks on my small channel if you want to check the tracks out. Hope that helps... hit me up if you've got anymore questions.

Problem is the more complicated it is to get your motorcycle license, the less people will do it. I know I would have a hard time justifying getting a bike if I had to get a 125 I couldn't even use for my commute since in the city I live in you basically have to take the highway to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time.

I'd bet my custom built miniGP race bike using the same motor, 12" wheels, all aluminum frame bike would beat it.

I wish we could have a pure American version of this motorcycle so we cold have a better training grounds for the next generation of American motogp riders. #NickyHaydenRIP
American made, have swappable parts and upgrades and all delivered and supported by Amazon. It could be such a fun and profitable industry!!
