Sherman Douglas threw the best alley oops in college b-ball history!!!! Still trying to find the one he threw to Coleman running out of bounds between the legs. Good post fam.
Sherman Douglas probably the best true Point Guard to play at Syracuse. I believe Ellis transferred from Kentucky to Syracuse the following year. They were on Sports Illustrated Cover for top Front Court in the Country that year.
Much respect to legendary DC native Sherman Douglas. That brotha use to alley oop those cats coming out the locker room! Setting all types of assist records.
......not highly recruited, replaces Pearl, gets them within one point of the chip, graduates as one of the great point guards of the era and plays a few years in the NBA.
My favorite Syracuse squad. Hands down!💪🏾
Books Onomy A lot of fun to watch!
@@TheAdkFlyer10 Yes indeed man! Super exciting as a kid! Good old days at the Dome!
They should have won a National Championship!
Agree 100%!
for sure!!
You could see DC tell Leron Ellis "come to Cuse and be a part of this."
And he did!
Dang I miss the days when Syracuse had loaded teams like this one!

Ed Cota ..but i feel you Sherman and Kenny Anderson was my fav pg's college ball
That was to Stevie Thompson against Indiana i believe.. Not too hard to find at all.
@@wytelester-green8891 Vince made Cota look good! Lol he definitely was a good lob thrower, as was Sherm
Still can't believe the loss to RI in the tourney. 'Cuse had FOUR guys from this team play in the league...

This was the best squad we ever had, period. The team with Melo, would’ve got smoked
I am watching this video after reading “Bleeding Orange” by Boeheim
Syracuse was super dope back then!
Crazy they didn’t win
Memories!
Monster Cuse team!
My favorite teams were the Douglas years!
Backdoor, baseline.... nobody ran it like that Cuse team!!!

Where's Roosevelt Bouie.
Those SU teams were so much fun to watch. Big East was the best back then.
Sherm had a rough job replacing the great Pearl Washington.

@@thescatman5029 Sherm was good but he wasn't Pearl.
@@lashaunmccall760 No one said he was! But he put in the work to get where he got!
@@thescatman5029 no doubt he did he had better talent around him than Pearl.
DC was supposed to be remembered as one of the best pf's ever, but like Grant Hill or Penny some times they never reach full potential.
