Well there is Imagica, Essel world in mumbai, which i think is great and affordable.
Even we have Asia's biggest water park in mumbai,India.
But talking about disney land or unversal studio , we just dont have that class of people much .
Most of the people can pay max to max 2000rs-3000rs not much than that.
Disneyland ke tickets 8k se 10k tak ho sakte hai

I do not agree with this. Having been to Universal Studios at Singapore and Adlabs Imagica Mumbai, I think both were very similar. Imagica was in-fact more than a decent value-for-money budget friendly option. This industry is booming with increase in the young people in metro cities. We need to work more on maintenance and marketing.

This is true..large amusement parks like Disney need a lot of infrastructure, connectivity and weather pattern. Weather is important as you need to maximize days due to essentially outdoor attractions; California/Orlando for example offer that advantage against most locations in India with hot-humid to monsoon changes. A proximate location to a city like Bangalore may offer an option with mild weather and income strata/connectivity...though still you have to build an ENTIRE new city to manage a DisneyWorld scale of operations consisting of Hotels, Services, Multi modal transportation et al. In my humble opinion, India should study the Mexico Cancun model, where tourist destinations like Goa, Andaman or other coastal mild climate regions with influx of both indian and foreign tourists offer viable opportunities for building such theme parks built with local ecology, climate and culture in mind. Xcaret, Xelha and others in Cancun area are great examples to replicate...Theme parks with Bharat experience and affordable to masses will develop local economy and provide a differentiated experience!

Assuming that India's population will peak at 1.7 billion, India needs to have a gdp of over 34 trillion to have a per capita gdp of $20000 and become an advanced economy. Like if this can be achieved in at least 2080.

It is excellent for tourism if India has a Disney World and Universal Studios. However, the average per capita income should be around $ 6,000 to do so. This will happen when India's GDP reaches 10 trillion in 2023. Ideally, the park should be built around a large metropolis with excellent rail and air links. The best site would be a suburb of Mumbai. Disney started building Shanghai Disney Land when China's per capita GDP was around $ 6000,

At present entry ticket to disney tokyo is around 8000 JPY which is about 4200 INR as of May 2024. So the argument that tickets to these resorts is very high is not correct. India can certainly have such theme parks provided there is better infrastructure (which is being built currently)

It's very simple. High end amusement parks like Disney, Universal, etc charge Rs10000 - 20000 per person in US for a single day. Multiply that by 4 people for a family and you have your answer. Maybe in 15-20yrs.

The question is, why and what theme park? Disney world itna expensive hai. Idhar uss scale ka theme park maintain nahi kar sakte hai kyuki koi bhi utna spend nahi karenge. Additionally, Disney ke paas itne saare most popular ips hai aur 100 saal se bhi uppar ka legacy. Bollywood ya anya indian movie industries ke paas koi bhi dhang sa ip nahi hai. Baahubali ya KGF hi sirf do honge theme park worthy but they are owned by different studios.
Side question: why do we even need a theme park? UK, Germany, France, aur baaki saare EU countries ke paas bhi nahi hai. Tourist attraction hamare paas bohot hai. Unka proper maintainance to kardo EU ki tara. Un sabka promotion and maintenance ek theme park ke budget se bhi kam aayega.

Well said and on target 🏹🎯 We have thousands of years old monuments and architectural feats of the ancient world the Govts. are unable to take care of. Why need "amusement parks" ?? We should be engaged in planting more endemic trees, preserving our ecology and building Ashramas that teach ancient Yogic sciences along with scriptural studies for the spiritual benefit of the public and future generations. This would also preserve our already highly sustainable culture and civilization. These skyscrapers and thick concrete jungles are nauseating to be honest. I have been in the EU for more than 4 years and US too. Hopeless. .... How can one even stay without being close to nature ?

Rare L from PowerTrain. At least in Mumbai & New Delhi there are millions of people who can afford going to such parks and both cities have MORE than enough infrastructure to support these parks and when we also bring Mumbai MMR, Pune, Delhi NCR and other big cities which have good connectivity with Mumbai and New Delhi into picture, it gets even more true. Labour, water, electricity, etc. is in cheap in India, so parks will be able to generate good revenue with affordable/cheap tickets. It's just because of stereotypical reasons and international politics, we don't have such parks.

India will not have disneyland. And the reason is that it does not appeal to our people. India will have its own amusement park when the right time of income capabilities arrives. Which is more than 5000 usd per capita with less than 40 gini, and over 0.700 human development index.

Dubai has some best amusement parks and waterpark but Dubai has a lot of money but when I went to Vietnam I was surprised by their amusement park and waterpark there which are way better than India and Vietnam is a poor country as compared to India.

Bro sometimes what you say and give examples sound really stupid, you said this is not part of our culture really???? so this is the reason why these can't be built????
planes were not part of Indian culture, TV, and cars just check these things arrived in India after a very long time so you are comparing two very different things.
Amusement parks have nothing to do with Indian culture, we all grow up watching Disney cartoons and movies. Car races like Formula or Moto are not part of Indian culture
are we not pushing these in India????? the real reason is us Indians. i feel people will not go to these parks in large numbers, very few people, and on that we may thrash the whole
park. on a lighter note paint the whole park with paan
