Most reviews find level frets as well. They have been around a while on Amazon and really developing a solid reputation. Many cheap guitar companies have left.
I would lower those pickups a lil bit since it does sound like there's still a bit of clipping on your clean channel . Otherwise though this guitar looks great
You should do a "budget axe" video for a bass guitar under $200. I play keyboard/piano but been looking to get a bass guitar soon and wondering which one I should get. I make ambient/lofi/blues/hiphop music.
Where do you get a guitar set up professionally? And is there THE optimal setup or do you need to tell them what kind of setup you want? Cause I never had my guitar setup and honestly I wouldnt even know what it is in need of
Most guitar stores would offer that service but it is good to find someone who does a great job. A set up is fairly universal but there are some preferences that can go into it. String action (height from the fretboard) and string gauge for example. But neck relief and intonation is usually more exact.
That’s its clean sound? Ouch. It also looks cheap. How’s the quality of the fretboard, action and weight? I don’t know why I’m asking, I’m not going to buy one. At the stage I’m at I really won’t waste my time for under 2-3k. Most of my electrics are in the 6-10k range. But it might make a nice Christmas gift for someone’s grandkid or newbie. 🤷
@@adamneal8574 Not really. An instrument is an investment. Especially if you make a living with it and spend thousands of hours like I have playing. For comparison a decent cello START at $15k. And if you play in a professional orchestra, you’re looking at $50k starting.
@Fr33Diver I mean that's fine, but It's does come across as a little elitist bro. And honestly, after playing a multitude of expensive and non expensive guitars, I feel there is a threshold of how much$$$ really increases playability and sound ( unpopular opinion maybe: tonewoods don't do jack for electrics). After that, you are paying for cosmetic features, cool woods, name, or maybe collectability if it's a vintage. Put a nice 600-1200$ (even cheap harley bentons are INCREDIBLE) guitar with a proper setup in capable hands with capable equipment, will sound and play amazing.
@@adamneal8574 He most likely doesn't own much just talks much. If SRV or EVH played this it would sound like them...period. I have a MK I like playing as much as my LP custom shop.
Thank you so much😊❤

Matches your beard. Awesome
Excellent video Jamie!!
It reminds me of my first guitar Cort Z44. Looks nice but sounds according to the price.

@jamierobinson777 thanks dude
These are $160 on Amazon with a $10 coupon right now.
Crazy, they're £513 here in the UK. Which is about $626 😅
Anyone now how it compares to the Leo Jaymes monsoon ?
Sounds great.
Absolute bargain at $200.

Lol flex much?
That's literally who it's for, a beginner. Your comment added zero value. No one cares.
