Another video you may enjoy on TH-cam: “ Review, Cold Start and Drive of a Porsche 356 B with 60 horsepower”. Some interesting tidbits in there! 👍🏾
Ohhh, I’ll check it out! Thank you for the recommendation 🙌🏼
Great video your lucky to have your family help. 30 years ago my stepfather resurrected a 1960 356b which I got to witness. I'm very interested in this build because I own a 62 356b just like yours that needs to be restored. Thank you for video. Have you seen porsche made by hand video made by porsche in 1960 its a great inspirational video.
Hi Tom, thanks for the comment! I am very lucky having my whole family supporting me and helping. This project would take far more years without the help of my mum and dad. That is cool, does he still have the car? Ahhh amazing, I hope I can inspire you to get started. Where abouts are you based? Yes, such a great video.
@@thestoryoftrouble thanks for reply he sold car 10 years ago. I'm based in echo park los angeles keep up the good work, I hope to get my project going soon
Ahhh do you know where abouts the car is now? Do it! If you ever have any questions let me know. Hopefully my channel will motivate you through your project 🙌🏼
nice work. keep them coming! 🎉
Thanks! Will do!
I would guess that is an electric fuel switch for a pump to prime the carbs.
This is a pretty good guess! I've read that lots of people put inline fuel pumps in to prime the system so that they don't drain their 6v battery cranking the engine to get fuel pressure. This is a mod I'm thinking of doing.
