back in the 90's, my husband and i went to see tom petty in tampa. lenny kravitz was opening. he had just released "american woman", but most of us had no idea who he was, so we were wandering around, getting refreshments, waiting for tom to take the stage. all of a sudden the music stops and kravitz starts complaining about how none of us yokels are listening to him, and why should he play if we're not listening (uh, you're getting paid, aren't you?) being florida men and women, we truly had no idea what his problem was, and so we continued with what we were doing. next thing you know, baby boy put his guitar down and walked off stage, leaving his confused band mates to unplug and pack stuff up. we felt a little bad, but also felt he had vastly over reacted, so we just waited for tom and rocked the stadium that night without lenny. 😝
In I think, 1986, I was at the Aerosmith "back in the saddle" concert, Spokane, WA. The opening band was the "Devinyls" (spelling?). They barely started the first song when people started chanting "Aerosmith!" and "Get off the stage !". Next thing , "stuff" started flying through the air. Lighters, ice, msc. whatever people found to throw, it was chaos, and being 5 foot 3" , my boyfriend's 5 ' 7" , we got out of the crowd fast. It didn't get Aero onto the stage any faster and we were left walking around the colliseum just waiting. I'd never heard of the first band, no idea what music they played, but felt bad for them.
I could have used the electronic floating shoe display the other weekend. I was camping, it was raining and when I went to answer nature's call, I stepped In a hole full of water with my Van's. It was dark and I was still in my tent.🤔 I moved my tent a bit the next day. I had to get ingenious to get my sneakers where they could dry but not catch on fire. A fine line this product might have helped with.
It would’ve been cool to actually see and hear the performers as they walked off stage instead of being told what happened.
Maybe there is some kind of copyright issue?

l think 80% of these reasons for exiting the stage are legit reasons.
