I fished Rodman Dam on the Ocklawaha River In Florida for Crappie. Last year I could not catch these fish for some reason and now I am back for redemption! The first day was tough and I didn't catch a single one though I did get a new species The Florida Gar. I will show that at the end with some truckstop fish as "Bonus fish" . The next day I came back and caught them! this was a great afternoon of fishing catching some nice Black Crappie

im glad you got to do a little fishing in florida, that was nice truck stop fishing. I saw a few places like that when driving down but didnt stop
I wasnt going to fish it. But, sitting in the Car I saw fish swirling. Could help myself. I fished it like 15 mins and caught 4.

Awesome catch. I wanted to head down there to get a Florida gar but foolishly chose to go to MN instead for some Burbot.
I dont know if you could tell(i may have cut the first part out) but when I caught it I was like oh no , Gar. But after I was thinking wow that was my first Florida Gar. I should have taken a good picture. Tks For Watching!
