what about ram channels , does it come with a single or dual channels ?
which specific rams work on this laptop? i planned on buying hyper x 8gb ram but found out from tge reviews that it doesnt work with amd laptops. how can we know which one to buy that really works for this laptop?

No issue with Photoshop and non-graphics intense video editing. Consider upgrading the memory to at least 24GB (8GB onboard + 16GB). At this budget, you can consider ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED. Although the CPU is slightly older, but it has a better OLED display.
Does this laptop does lagging? I've bought this laptop from online a week ago. But some apps like visual studio, booting tym is approx 17s. I haven't installed any other heavy apps or games. But feels like it is lagging a bit. Is it normal or does this laptop have any prblm??
Visual Studio uses quite high memory resources. Hence, it needs at least 32GB of RAM.
How long is the life of a current gen laptop? Is this Vivobook still "new" on the market in May of 2024 or has this series' predecessor already been released?
There's already a new ASUS Vivobook 16 2024 announced but it is powered with Intel Core processors. AMD variant is coming soon in Q3.

Between R5 5600H and R5 7530U, the H series processor would have an upper hand in processing power. So, it would be more powerful to handle productivity and medium settings gaming

Is ram and storage upgradable?
Yes! It comes with an empty SO-DIMM RAM slot where you can expand it. The storage is a non-soldered M.2 where you can swapped it to a bigger storage size.
