    Bought it last week for only 30K pesos in the Philippines, it was on sale for -15% so i said why not. I really like the 16:10 aspect ratio and the included fingerprint sensor. I got the ryzen 5 7530u variant with 8gb ram. I do need to upgrade it with another 8gb ram to enable dual channel and boost up gameplay FPS. For the screen i don't see any issue with it since it has the same specs as my PC monitor. My only complaint is the very inadequate downward firing speakers. The volume is just too low and there's no bass at all so i resort to using external speakers or headphones.

      hello may i know which store did you get it from? how’s the perf so far? heat?

      @@rizpuns I bought it physically from Octagon. The sale ends until June I think. For the performance, so far it's alright though I'm forced to lower the screen resolution to 1280x800p when I'm gaming to have a smooth experience. It doesn't have any issue running E-sports titles like league and valorant as long as you configure the settings a bit. Surprisingly there has been no heating issue even if I stress test it a lot though the fans kinda get loud.

    I find that the best resolution is 1680 x 1050 for this laptop. It is rather tiring in 1920 x 1200. I have tested it a lot in order to choose the 1680x1050 resolution as optimum. The screen is not very good, but I do own an HP Probook 650 g8 (intel i5 1135g7/8gb/256gb - iris xe graphics) and I think they look quite the same. Overall, this Vivobook is great value for money. I bought it for just 480 euros. The best price that I find for hp pro 650 g8 is 600 euros (well a few months ago because it is not available anymore). The battery on the last one lasts only 2,5 hours while on asus holds for 7-8 hours and the charger is a lot smaller that the HP's, thus it is a lot more portable. The 16' vs the 15,6' screen is a huge plus for me. I think that overall Asus holds a better value. Maybe I should go for the oled screen, but I only want to use it for office purposes. Do you have a recommendation as an upgrade option for the screen? Do you think that a screen with better Hz is going to be less strenuous for the eyes?

    • @vik393
      @vik393 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am eyeing the 16' screen as well for work use- but was a bit concerned if the resolution was adequate for this size - looking at emails, web, documents long hours etc. But your comment on using a lower resolution as optimum- would you mind to elaborate please? Won't the scaling of text get a little blurry? Thanks

    Great laptop for djing. I have the Ryzen 9 w/780M built in graphics and since I only use it for Serato Dj Pro it’s plenty powerful. I was using a Ryzen 7 laptop but was getting some audio dropouts. Most likely because I only had 8gigs ram and it wasn’t upgradable. No more dropouts😊 I might eventually upgrade the Ram but honestly there’s no real urgency at this point. Great video✌🏾

      As a current user of Infinix DON'T BUY IT. Battery sucks plus they don't give you any updates (even security updates) plus you're missing a few features that other brand of phone has. If you're fine with that then go for it BUT IF POSSIBLE THEN DON'T BUY IT
