The nurse in me is always commenting on how I wish I was there to help care for her and where she may find help, but she is independent to a fault as most of us are, she is always in my prayers and you as well. I have a small stash of hand dyed yarn from hobby lobby. Thinking of knitting a sweater with the fingering or shawl. Not sure if i have enough but i can mix it with other yarns. Love the colors you got in happy mail. i used to go to home interior parties with my mom. Love your hair!

Through my online uke group, I ended up getting a pen pal from Scotland. We DM every day, and he has become a close friend 🧡 Thanks for taking such good care of the puppies. My SAD is back big time (and I have chronic health conditions), but we are all strong together. ❤❤❤

So are you!! I believe we are all meant to inspire each other which helps us all out; love and support is essential for keeping up the fight! I wish I could do more to help her out! Jen you are such a good friend and are so inspirational. I k ow I have told you about my big back surgery but what I didn’t tell was what dark days they were. My doctor could not see the break so he said he needed proof before surgery. I accidentally overheard my co-workers talking and 99% thought i was faking. My pastor said it “was all in my head.” It was hard. We struggled to pay bills. I could not get my daughter’s senior pictures or her yearbook. My car was repossessed and thank goodness a few of our neighbors dropped off food. It was a dark time and I kept thinking it was never going to end. My doctor finally did surgery but by then I was thinkingI was such a burden and should just end things! I had no friends. Thank goodness for my Lord and Savior! I will certainly pray for Kayla and want you to know I am so grateful for finding your channel!❤

My mom was a complicated woman too. I loved her but we didn’t get along. She passed away at 39. I was 18. She loved Christmas too. Hearing your stories of her baking and cards is like a blast from memory lane. I lost her on Halloween. So holidays are hard for me. But you are helping me reconnect with my memories of my mom. For that thank you so much.

I thank you for loving Kayla as much as I do. I love and pray for you too. I'm there for you when you have your dark days. I am crying because I have battled for 5 to 6 years, I made it to to 75 in September. Yes, I have a lot to be be thankful for and I am. I cried when when you shared your heart a while back. Oh my gosh Kayla is quite the inspiration and so talented, my heart and PRAYERS go out for her. She is such a blessing as you are for speaking your feelings. I live in Salina, IS. My crocheting has improved so much, I was in a comfort zone for many years. But I watched you, Sara Sach, Jayda, Krystal, and many others and I finally said "I can do that and I am". My Mom and I would make 7-10 varieties every year. I now make them with her step great grandchildren. It’s so fun to pass on the tradition. My Mom’s birthday was 12/20.
Those colors of yarn hanks from Hobby Lobby are gorgeous! I have a tote of HL wool hanks and yet I don't have those colors, never even saw them at my HL.

I’m the same as your mom I love Christmas, and love buying gifts and go out of my way to get the gifts they will enjoy. My mom was a wonderful mom she was a single parent worked a job that was shift work and made Christmas so special. Do you remember the Sears catalog? That’s where mom bought most of our gifts, and I did to with my kids when they were young, I remember looking through it ordering for my kids it felt like Christmas when we picked up the Sears catalog, sure miss those days. And miss my mom so much at this time of year.

Good morning Jen, I watch your videos no matter what the title 😜 I enjoy watching you. I absolutely love the yarn you received and your Home Interior Frankenstein. I went to a couple of Home Interior parties back in my early 20s. I think it’s a shame they’re no longer in business, they had all kinds of beautiful home decor.
I’ve been watching Kayla for years now and I actually heard about you from Kayla. You’re so right about living with pain, you and Kayla have always given me what I need to push through to get up and do something. Even if it’s to sit up to read, crochet and watch TH-cam videos. Kayla has such a strength that gives me strength. When I first started watching her and she started having problems but she kept smiling and laughing I couldn’t understand how she managed to do that. I know now how and why…you, your family, Kayla, Big Daddy and their boys are always in my prayers.
Thank you for everything you do for us and for asking everyone to go love bomb Kayla. You are so loving and compassionate.

Good morning Jen🙏❤️. I want to first thank Mr. Cinnamon for putting up the Christmas decorations out front of your house.🥰👏🏻👏🏻🎄🎅🏻. I wanted to tell you that I saw on our local news here in Tampa Bay Florida that they were saying that people are actually putting up their Christmas trees inside their houses but some don’t have lights yet and some do and there are also people putting up Christmas lights outside of their homes and there are a lot of people not that like it cause it’s cheerful and beautiful too. I feel that Christmas decorations should be up all year round but with the Hurricane seasons here that it wouldn’t be a great idea but, I absolutely am so happy that there are people who are wanting to be in a cheerful mood and share it with everyone. God bless Mr. Cinnamon. Also, those three yarn you should and I believe you said you’d like to make them into a sweater. I think it would be a great idea cause they’re so bright and cheerful too. You mentioned ten kids🥰. My husband was number 8 of 10 kids. He had a twin sister. His oldest sister had a daughter with 10 kids. I think her husband was one of ten, also. Those days large families were popular, usually farm families. God was kind to me, one baby at a time.

Hi Jennifer, I truly do understand the darkness, Iv been sick from birth. When i was 18 i felt like i was 90. I never thought id make it to 60 but here am. I am so tired but I have people around me who need me. I love you a Kayla and everyone else who is dealing with the pain of being alive.🙏❤️💜🙏💙🙏

Hello beautiful! I have some of the dk Hobby Lobby skeins too. They are great to work with. I made a few Christmas gifts with some of it a few years ago. Yes! Hobby Lobby had a yarn called Color Idyll. It was a light fingering and had a color called wild watermelon. I started a pair of socks for myself with a skein last week.
My grandma always made a dozen different cookies for everyone to enjoy at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Her thumb print cookies were one of my favorites. I miss her.

I like making hats and scarves/cowls with fingering weight yarn if I don't have enough to make a garment out of it. The lighter weight hats can be worn at much warmer temps. I am also going to try crochet socks.

I understand about cards. I'm just not organized enough to keep and save all the cards I get. However. I have a card album from my mom (she passed away last year at 85) that her mom made for her. It's filled with baby shower cards, birthday cards till she was around 3. These cards are falling apart, they are pop up cards, cards if you pull a tab a clown or animal would pop out of the card. So these cards are 80 years old. As a little girl, on rainy days my mom would pull this album out to keep me from saying 'I'm bored I'm bored' When my mom gave it to me my sister didn't know about it or just didn't remember. I love that album, I wish I knew how to preserve the cards but I'm no scrap book person.

I’ve been praying for Llama Mama since she vlogged from her hospital bed. I too love to get cards but never send back any. Chronic pain sucks! Yes it’s ok to not be ok. You’re lucky to have a close family. You’re my daughter’s age but, she was born on August 1st, I wish you’d trade places with her!
I've been a subscriber of Kayla for a few years now and I have to say she's the sweetest, funniest, kindest, and very talented woman I've never met. I adore her. Omg,her sense of humor matches my own so much. I pray for her,and think of her often. I suffer from constant swelling in my legs( lymphoma?) and I'm in pain constantly from it. I absolutely know how dark my own thoughts get. That if God came to me right now and said I could come home to him,no more pain ,no more suffering, just blissful peace and happiness or stay here and keep enduring until my time is threw, I think I would stay ...only because I'm not ready to leave my sons/family. So I do understand. I would like to add that please WATCH Kayla 's old videos, it will help her out financially, plus you will love them and get to know a wonderful person through her videos. ❤❤❤

Do you think it could have been the zauberball yarn?? Wasn't that a bright vibrant pink? When they told me in the mid to late 90's that I had Chronic Fatigue and Chronic stress disorder I thought it was the end of the world, but I pushed myself so hard. I was in my 20's. I wish I knew then what I know now, that those were precursors to Fibromyalgia, because I would have ran my body into the ground by 45 trying to be the best navy wife and mom. I would have taken more breaks and more rests.

chronic pain..ya. the result ..i became touched in a spiritual way..i guess my human brain needed some angels and their realm and they found me. lama mama...im mamalama...how similar....i had cancer, sepsis ,failing kidneys w bags , a failing weak heart from pain, broken ribs and two broken hips, then bcz of that i lost my mom n two daughters bcz i was sick. they left me. i havent spoken to them since 2020. they wont answer my calls....its so unbelievable... i lost my sanity. i choked through it and became highly moral as a result. i also found objective morality and God through Nature. hugs,and care
