IMO the townhouses on gilley are too narrow. There are condos from the late 90s or early 2000s over 1000 sq.ft such on Southoaks cres which are two bed and den so equal square footage in one floor plan around 800K to $900K ish if renovated can be great too. But to each their own.
Absolutely! A potential drawback to most townhomes is the stairs. They are great for people who want easy entry in/out or have pets etc. But that's right, just depends on someones personal situation :)
@@realestateinvancouver That's right. IMO those older well maintained two bed / bathrooms and den larger condos are a gem. A couple can raise a kid in that type of home unlike the newer micro condos. They're like the new townhouse for people upsizing from a one bed but the key is they are also desired from seniors down sizing from a house who don't want stairs.
@@micrasystems yes I completely agree! I just hosted an open house at a 1,000 sf stacked townhouse and most of the feedback was about the lack of space. It was 3 beds but not a lot of living space!
