RE will be hard on your pocket after 2 years. Everything will go down fule economy and the body parts will show lots of rusting specially in Mumbai. It doesn't make sense bcoz they have not manage the weight properly.
True, a rider who has done 7 lac kilometers of trips would mean he has done like 5% of it in city and 95% on highways+offroads+no roads. So it is natural for him to prefer the Himalayan which is built for such requirements. Where as Scrambler 400x is a jack of all which can do everything in a decent way. So it actually comes down to requirement of the rider.
The guy looked like a typical bullet fanboy.. even if the engine broke down, he will still try to justify his bike.. RE is KTM of old uncles.. young chhapris like KTM and old Chhapris like RE 😂
This fellow will praise Himalayan even if the engine just seized.. typical bullet fanboy.. the looks are subjective but the quality, reliability and the performance I think Scrambler is much better for the price.. most of the chhapris will go for the old school RE. Triumph is a class apart bike.. in pur area doodh walas ride royal enfield or chhapris with patakha on road.. thats why i never liked RE as a brand.. KTM of old uncles…
RE bikes are cheap trash, poorly built with pathetic reliability. Some reviewers have had engine seizures on their brand new test bikes. I would not touch with even with a barge pole.
Wrong guy for comparison. Scrambler 400x is far better and superior bike than what he paints.
Scrambler 400x with a shorter seat-height would have been way better for Indian consumers.

Just look at all the bolts on RE (Engine area) looks really ugly where as scrambler looks clean and better
The review is more inclined towards RE obviously it's a sponsored one...we all know scrambler 400x is better one 😁
Have you seen the full video ? Can assure its not sponsored.
