Okay... So what happens after a gun is successfully traced? What percentage of traced guns lead to solving crime? Or are most those guns already reported stolen?
Persons who use un-serialized guns(or any guns) in a crime should be prosecuted. Persons who make their own guns(as they have for 100s of years) for their own personal LAWFUL use should be left alone. Biden /Feds could care less about safety. They want serial numbers and background checks so they KNOW WHO HAS GUNS making it easy for them to confiscate them in the future.
Years later they have confirmed that they actually did make a registry and can search for any firearm make and model they so desire. Yet they are not facing accountability for their actions in front of congress or anything like that. Am sure they are going to say it was for our best interest to let them do as they please.
Yeah, it’s funny how they completely left out, mentioning anything regarding the fact that tracing a firearm by its serial number will only tell you who originally bought that gun and if it’s sold, then it’s of no use then and all the taxpayer money got WASTED searching for some thing they find out doesn’t have a name attached!!!!
Just because a very small number of criminals use these why should I be penalized and unable to purchase my own. BTW have you priced these guns? They are much more expensive than purchasing a serialized gun out of a car trunk.
They are saying it's not legal to create a searchable system. That has to pass through congress first. I'm sure they are aware of ocr and other methods.

most crooks and street gangs. lack the time,, and skills needed to build a homemade gun. except for the slam shotgun. it is far easer and cheaper to just go down the street and buy a stolen gun.
unregistered building? ya have to chop the wood and dig the bog iron out yourself and everything and not be seen by the imaging satellite to get away with that... ghillie suit thru the lagoon for the last 3 weeks looking for the bog, smells like it too.
@@Valley710 he’s saying that there’s no way for them to trace it to an exact gun unless they have the gun itself. they need the gun to match it to the casings.
Did they really make a .22 sound louder then it really is? 😂
Dey just wanna scare dumb people🤦🏾

Screw them atf agents. Let them speed read, they get paid enough
This is what you get for limiting and targeting gun owners. The bad apples will take advantage of these things.
I dont see a problem here, legal users will use them right and criminals as always won't

Lmaoooooo Ye they don’t give af bout gun violence😂😂
"Gun Violence" Is A MYTH.
thank goodness it's not searchable! but it probably is 🙄
There is nothing restricting them from using OCR to search those digitized records

Oh come on news post the website already 😅 i want to go hunting for deer 🥰
This reporting was all over the place and left out a lot.
Guns can't be traced. Serial number of not. They can be matched. If you have spent bullets and the actual firearm.
Bro what the fuck are you saying 😂
