How is the video stability? I’ve noticed Samsung phones have a recurring issue of either jittery videos, or just straight up choppiness. Have you had any problems with this?

SO! My iPhone 12 vs S20 Fe is a great video to watch for this; to sum up I think the Front facing on the Samsung IS BETTER but Portrait Selfie Mode on the iPhone does give you nicer selfies. Photographer go Samsung, Videographer/Selfie qkween go iPhone 12.

What I would add are more front camera photos, especially when there is no autofocus such as on this phone, maybe with some people at the background (ask them before If they allow you to take photos of them haha), focusing on how much detail you can get from them (ofc nowadays it's kinda hard because of covid). Just that. Keep it up!

I think it is. I did compare the iPhone 12 and the S20 FE and did feel the 12 was better for video but if you're looking to buy the S20 FE I think you will still be very happy shooting video on this - put it on a gimbal etc. On the phone video editing is not great however.

Hi Daniel! Thanks for the feedback - for sure I definitely focused this on video more than photos but wanted to put something in for those wanting a comprehensive review. I liked the Selfie Camera but I do prefer an iPhone WITH the combination of the portrait mode or selfie mode really but in terms of raw performance the S20 FE camera is definitely better than iPhone, at least at Video. I think there's some examples in my S20 FE vs 12 video.

As chip is different, image processing should be different, with the same camera setup result should be different. Can you tell me if the difference is noticeable?
I just got this Phone and it has fixed focus in the front, it gets blurry when I put the phone closer to my face, no focusing when I tap as well, while my Galaxy s10e focuses. I wonder will it last forever? Is it an issue? Maybe on other s20's it doesnt happen?
The front facing I wouldn't say is fixed focus, I felt it just can't do Macro close ups. I never had issues taking a selfie of my face, if you are experiencing blurry selfies I'd contact Samsung as I don't think it's software related. Tap to focus works on rear cameras but again never used on front facing as I used its face detection which can do multiple subjects.
Actually a combination of the 4G and the 5G. They share the same camera system. Anything of the City is shot on the 4G (pics and videos). Dogs, garden are shot on the 5G. The only difference in models besides the 5G chip is the 4G that we have here in Europe doesn't use a Snap Dragon processor but an Exynos chip. I'll discuss battery on that in my review where I honestly didn't notice anything.
Just got this phone. My problem is that most of my images are not sharp, especially when I use zoom. What settings could I be missing that would elicit the same sharpness in your photos?
Photos should be sharp, I didn't put any effects on them. Try to keep a steady hand, use manual focus if you need to and experiment with what works best on the Camera. I've additional photography in my S20 FE vs iPhone 12 Video for further references.

I got this phone, but when the front camera is in full screen mode, it zooms in really close to my face for some reason? This also happens when I'm in other apps like snapchat and instagram. Did this happen to anyone else?
Hi Shawna, Sorry to hear that is happening. That never occurred to me at all. How strange, go into settings and turn off face track and see what happens? Otherwise as annoying as it is, trying resetting the phone then updating it to the latest Software update.

@@shawnasachiko Yay! Glad I helped you. Yeah it's because 6:19 is I want to say taller than full screen. Full Screen on the phone is like 2:1 or something so the phone has to crop the Image in.
RealNightFury I don’t live in the City and can’t get in as Dublin is now on a really strict lockdown due to rising cases with penalty fees. When I did initial photography, I forgot Samsung sets the default to 1080P otherwise of course I would have recorded that awesome city scape in 4K.

In my testing I didn’t see it although you can see some “waving” on the front facing camera

Yes. People feel the processor difference may affect camera quality but as you can see from me testing the 4G and 5G, they look identical in my tests.

4k video recording means UHD?.. I have S20 FE. but i didnt seen any 4K. best quality is UHD 60fps..is that u meant 4K bro?

Consensus is that the camera is fixed focus.
I dont know if it is only my S20 FE overheating a little bit on Camera or its by all versions of S20 FE
It can get warm but I never observed over heating although I had the 5G phone much longer. 😬

@@shawnasachiko Oh ok, so yeah I think Full Screen is cropped. I think wide 16:9 or 9:16 is the widest and that's what I kept mine at. :)
