Congratulations for the excellent result. Can I ask you a question? I didn't understand if after the first layer of white on the face you waited for it to dry and then applied the light layer of ocher.
Portraits in profile, with a dark background, is too odd, just a opinion. Frontal portraits or in 3/4 form, at least can be seen a little better to a observer. Technically is very well done, you are good painter in an advanced stage, continue to paint , don`t quit. Bring more videos !
From one artist to another.. beautiful work.❤❤
Thank you for your time and the excellent demonstration. You are a skilled artist with enough class to concentrate on the art and not the sell. 🔥
Seeing the tonal white go first is a revelation, super thanks!
Fascinating to see how Sargeant achieved such luminosity in his paintings. Beautiful! Thank you,
Please add more starting techniques of the under painting!
I love this style, it's a different perspective.

yes, the white is dry before I apply color
At 3.38 it’s all good then 3.39 it jumps too far ahead missing an important part…
I thought the same thing
Because we have to pay for tutorial
@@hercaselis1367 Ok 👍
Yes, we don’t really want to share the “real work” because everyone would have a TH-cam channel for pitching tutorials!!🤣😂🤣

I don't understand what's strange about portraying a face in profile. In addition to Sargent many excellent artists have tackled profile portraits.
