Did your problems with the service electronic pedal disappear or did it come back …been having this problem like for 2 years and been dealing with it I just clear the code and it works perfect until it doesn’t
Biggest fix factor for me was the replace air sensor and unplug and plug in the electronic part of the gas pedal, good luck, keep the old sensors in truck if issue swap them out again clear codes
It ran but lost power on inclines, i had to downshift up big hills. Also you lose ac when this happens..very odd replacing the mass air intake worked but then it happened again, replaced the pedal and returned the pedal bad match but that might have been the fix....i'm about to do the cummings recall, will update.
Yes lots of codes, I even detached the batteries for 10min to try to fix, look at partsgeek.com and one is the mass air flow intake and the other is right beside it the air temp and the brake sensor, copied here: 2016 Ram 2500 Brake Pedal Position Sensor W0133-2604527, 2016 Ram 2500 Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor AS415, 2016 Ram 2500 Mass Air Flow Sensor Brand SKP SKU SK7450071, seems like replacing the gas pedal might be the actually trick, very easy to do its all electronic but the one i got stuck way out not drivable you need the angled down Pedal....for me the air flow one worked but then did it again so I replaced the pedal for a day and returned it....if it happens you can downshift up hills

Hey can you show the part numbers? Were you getting any codes, besides the lighting bolt and check engine light?
