As a person who spends most of my time in my own head, the idea of being scared of my own thoughts sounds really scary. My internal dialogue is my comfort zone.
I have a social battery for the most part but when i finally have people I'm actually close to, it is like this exactly. Even if we don't say anything to each other, I feel better if we are in the same room. I can't be alone with my thoughts sometimes.
I'm the same way. I started off the year living alone because I specifically thought I would need the alone time. I wound up putting my sheets on my gf's spare bed a month into the year and moving in by the end of the semester because I genuinely just never went home. Anyone else but her-- I'd still need the alone time.

If you have “NO social battery” it means you are able to socialise without breaks and not get exhausted by it. The friend in this case, is the one asking to not “leave her alone with her thoughts”.

I have 3 people I adore and love being around it’s just, if I don’t take a break for my social battery, I get an attitude and I’m more snappy. I try really hard not to be I really do, but it’s always because I either need a day or a few hours to myself.
