@@timjones111 well, actually if you're not actually British you might not understand the fact that britain is nowhere near the how the stereotypes we get portrayed as. Take for example punk, it was a movement that started in britain with people fed up with the current climate and the political state with the fact it was harder to get jobs and so they protested against the conservative twats by wearing ripped clothing and beating people up. so no, what you said was wrong, and if anything America is more posh than Britain, as in Britain we don't need some sort of dream, we just do what we want, when we want to.

Out of all the bands I've seen play Glastonbury (online of course) Blur gets EVERYONE together, for fucks sake the crowd is louder than Damon, it's beautiful
I was at one of their gigs at the SECC in Glasgow, a venue often criticised for its sterility. Blur absolutely tore the place down. I was still young at the time, maybe 17 or so, and I needed a good few days to recover. It was great!
I was there. It was both fun in parts and emotional in others. The absolute perfect live performance, 13 years later and I haven't seen many shows that have come close.
I know quite off topic but I congratulate Damon with although changing his style on multiple occasions always manages to realease good stuff, to his blur britpop birth, gorrilaz and even solo abulm
I saw them headline Hyde Park the same year and they were bloody brilliant there. I took my brother who didn’t know them or their music and he had a great time.
God I wish blur never broke up, I never got to see them live, neither Oasis or Verve :( Edit: According to the replies I’ve been getting for the last 2 months and searching up if they’re still together, it looks like they are. Not that funny tbh mate

In true British fashion, everything is half arsed and not done properly 👍🏻👍🏻
Especially when Damon always forgets the lyrics when Phil isn’t there 😂
It's glorious and hilarious. It fills me with such rebellious joy and "fuck shit up" attitude.

We’re they paying Phil Daniels by the minute?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Phil actually took a royalty cut for this song. He was offered that or a large sum of money.

It wasn't all great though. Some was good, some was bad. And they had a royal visitor.

Pretty sure the tempo was an assassination attempt on Phil Daniels

Crazy to think that the next year Damon was back here with the Plastic Beach tour... The versatility of this man.. Both amazing but very different
Imagine headlining Glasto 2 years in a row with both the bands you're in. Must mean you're a musical genius.
I know right imagine being the Gallagher brothers and just sitting there.
It feels like he never sleeps and keep making music/performing.
Due to U2 dropping out if I remember correctly
as a 18 year old who’s never seen blur, i pray they come to reading or glasto again, there’s no place i’d rather be than that crowd

Why do Blur always 2x their songs live?
because it's live, they want to get audience more hyped up, most bands do this if their music allow this type of tempo change
