I just found a 1970 Philly penny on the ground that's in real good shape, I have'nt put it under the microscope yet but I do believe it has been double stamped with another coin. I'll keep you posted on it, thanks
That's about unbelievable that much for an overly minted coin without any errors wow and the ones with errors and yes I'm now got my eyes out for all 70 cents great video good luck and good hunting

I got a beautiful 1970 D still has some luster to it as well. Do I have to have it graded in order to sell?
I also have a 70 s. An is 3.1g it's not as lustrous but struck really nicely. I'd say it's a brown.

Hi J and B! Thanks for the video. It takes a while for me to go thru rolls of pennys. I weigh everything. I knew about the 1970 struck on a dime planchet. Something from the 70s, especially from Philly is always on my radar. I will definitely be going thru my 70s flips and give them another once over. Especially a 1970 penny. Yes I check all my 1970 pennies. I have found pretty nice 1970p ddo also a 1970p with the designers initials polished away.
Now I do have a few uncirculated p&d 70 but no error coins and I also have 2 1970s penny that I found coin roll hunting but didn't know how much they were going for 2000$ I can buy a lot of coins with that thanks for the info 👍👍👍

I found a 1970 s penny and when you flip it over at the reverse is rotated is this something worth getting graded
Depends on how much it's off... this type of error is called a rotated die.
yeah it rotated. Say if you're looking at a clock with the 12 you know directly at the top of the clock the 12 would be now in between the 2 and the 3

Wow, that 1970 Denver was super red. The dime planchette strike was cool. Up until now, I haven't been checking out 70's too much, but have a couple boxes and will keep a close eye on them. Thanks!

I look for all 3 of the1970 penny mints, I like them all. They all have their own goodies to find and goodies are fun to find.

I just found a wicked nice 1970 P. The writing on the back of the coin is super thick and has doubling on both sides of the coin. It might be a ms62 at best. I'm not a pro at grading.
I watched another video of yours about the 1970 penny I have one from all three mints actually several from Philadelphia and Denver some brown not many red but I will be looking through them again thank you for the video

I'm expecting them to discontinue pennies soon, so have been saving all copper cents from change & boxes. (Which obviously includes 1970.) Figure I'll sift through them looking for errors, varieties, ones in great condition, etc at some point in the future, but right now they're just in plastic storage containers.

I have a 70 penny frome philly it’s in what I would say. Good condition. And on the reverse side. The. oF. Is so faint you Carly see it with naked eye. Like the dye wise wore out. Becouse it’s not drone wear. The rest of the coin is. Great shape what do I do with it ??

U have a 1970 with no mint mark red
I have a 1970 penny that looks new with very little imperfections. But I know it doesn’t take much to tank value & I’m ignorant as far as ballparking a grade with my eyes. Is there somewhere I could send pics just to get advice on whether or not it looks like it’s worth taking a chance & getting graded? Comparing it to graded pennies in these vids it looks like a red 67 or better to me but again idk the metrics they base their grades on & 2 coins could look identical on the surface but be completely different under further inspection. I’d really hate to pay $16 to have a penny graded 55, lol.
I wasn't but I am now. Have to check my collection to see if I have any of those.

I also looked it up for you the 1970 no mint mark penny was struck at the Philadelphia plant I hope that helps That's the one I guess that is rare and more valuable
