Good afternoon ladies! You don’t know how much I enjoy your daily podcast and miss you so much when you have to miss a day (but totally understand). For a point of reference the 133 car wreck was in Fort Worth, which is about 4 1/2 hours north of Houston. The express lanes of the freeway were shutdown all day. One of the things we get here is black ice, so the streets look fine. Very tragic event. They say we are going to get several inches of snow on Monday. It would take me multiple lifetimes to do all the things I want to do, and I love that sentiment about rabbit holes so much! I probably need to start making lists. I think that’s why I fill my time so much because I want to just create things! I recently got a card weaving kit to play with, but that is neither here nor there. 😂 I’m a NJ transplant in MS, and it’s true that folks here can’t drive in the snow, but the main issue is that we have no snow infrastructure. I’m pretty sure there isn’t a snow plow in my county, so it all adds up to shut it down and stay home!
You ladies are so great! I too like to go down rabbit holes and do all things and I usually accomplish them. I love Helens blanket and I like that you did them on the smaller hook. I don’t care for the huge holes in crochet. And crochet usually uses more fiber than knitting. But I’m going to have try that hexi blanket because it’s so cute. Have a lovely weekend!! 😻

I am from Georgia and it took my husband 6 hours to get home that night. It had been raining and there was ice underneath and most cars had no traction at all, so accidents blocked almost every road. What a mess. And isn’t that the truth? The Hollow is absolutely full of rabbit holes.

I just watched Episode 6 where answering the question: Will you dye yarn? Helen's No and Mary Beth's no interest whatsoever had me laughing hysterically. The Dye Gods laughed and accepted the challenge.
