That flame 😮, that happened to me once when I overfilled a canister,, had to burn off the excess until it settled, doesn’t matter how much your gear costs, as long as it does the job, if it costs 1k, 2k and it keeps you warm and safe , and you get many years of use then it’s worth it I think, buy some cheap gear because it’s cheap and not using it is when it’s not worth it. Yeah I was a bit surprised I think more brand new cartridge as after first proper boil use it never got even close to this situation. Chris uses the primus winter mix which I bought but saved if actually get two nights high in snow I did t want to waste money lower down on expensive gas.
