One of their best songs. A message about safe sex is not something that was common place by a pop group in the 90's. Shows how important Spice the album and group were to music.
Not in the UK certainly. TLC and Salt N’ Peppa though were definitely promoting safe sex.

The world should have taken this group a lot more seriously. Especially Mel B. She was a vibe ahead of her time.

Interesting Fact: The “2 Become 1” visual was directed by BigTV! (Monty Whitebloom & Andy Delaney) who also directed Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and Paula Abdul’s “The Promise of a New Day” videos.
