Thanks for showing the different options AND their measurements. I have an original blue Raskog cart. It was very simple to assemble and is quite sturdy. I think I need to get a gray Raskog soon! TFS!

I was in Goodwill and found what I guess is a utility cart. It's a standard plastic Sterlite cart. It was $5 so I grabbed it and brought it home and spray painted it hot pink and lined it with shelf paper from the Dollar Tree. I grabbed storage containers from the Dollar Tree and Wallyworld. It gave me lots of room. On the bottom I have room to store my paper packs and pages I'm working on for my trip to Disney next year. So its always worth looking at thrift stores.

Michaels’ Gramercy cart has been available in different colors since it came out. I got mine last summer in teal, and I think they also were then available in pink and grey or black. I think they’ll keep coming out with new colors in all their carts.

I also want to mention, I have a cart similar to the Recollections drawer carts you showed. It has 4 slanted shelves (each has a lip at the bottom) at the upper part, with 4 shallow drawers below. I keep 12x12" paper on the shelves, and different odds & ends in the drawers. The side support "ledge" on one of the drawers broke off some time ago, so it wouldn't stay on the runners. Thankfully, I was able to save the piece that broke, and Gorilla taped it back in place. Works fine still! Just a tip if anyone encounters a similar situation with the plastic drawers. :)

Update for anyone interested: last year (2020, Ikea came out with the Rashult, which is a mini version of the Raskog. It is just as sturdy, and seems to be offered in a few more colors than Raskog is in US. At the time Raskog was priced at $29.99 and its mini me came out at an "introductory price " of $24.99. I smelled trouble.
Lo, and behold! They have raised the price of Raskog to $39.99, and Rashult is priced at $27.99. Sad face.

Thank you for showing so many options, Elisa! I got a Raskog card maybe a few years ago, and it still works great. When I was putting it together, I managed to break one of the bolts while wrenching it! Thankfully, I was able to take another of the bolts to Lowe's and pick up a replacement. I was much gentler with that & the rest of the bolts that came with the cart. LOL I have often wondered about the longevity/sturdiness of the "knock off" carts like the ones at Michael's & Target. I am happy with my Raskog, though, so I doubt I'll ever test any others. Again, thanks, & have a wonderful day! :)

Just stumbled onto this vid. It was great!
I just have to tell ya how lucky I was when I found a Raskog Cart at a garage sale brand new, already assembled for 5 bucks! My handy hubby made me a cool wood cover that is super sturdy to run my BigShot or my Vagabon on it. I can keep my frequent heavy dyes under the wood cover. I just got the We are memory keepers ensemble set to add on. We shall see how it works.
Thanks agan for your effort on this vid.
God bless you and yours and I am super thankful for your awesome bravery sharing your faith! I appreciate you!

I know this was two years ago but Michael’s now have a 4 tier cart that is adjustable and they have a cart that turns into a table both sides come up. Also for Michael’s carts it has accessories like holders to hook on the sides of the carts, a paper towel holder, and handles you can hook to the cart, and accessories for vinyls to hook to the carts.

I’ve had my aqua Raskog for about 2 years now and I love it! It’s very sturdy. In addition I purchased 2 of those small white cups that clip onto the side like you have on yours. I only wish IKEA would make a sturdy lid that could be placed on top of the top basket. I currently have my electric die cutting machine in the top basket which takes up valuable storage space.
    Thanks for doing the comparisons.

@@ScrappyWife I apologize if that came off as a "smart" remark. I didn't mean it that way, but I was in a hurry and didn't spend the time to word it better. Just wanted to inform people watching it now to know that it's available in more colors. It's a great cart. I currently use it as a beauty cart, but I'm gonna buy another one for that and use the Grammercy for a sewing cart. It's SO versatile!

Thanks for the info on the carts. I got one from Michaels a year ago on sale for $25. I also bought one from Aldi a few months ago for $29.00 (haven't assembled it as yet). I love the Gramercy cart because of all the attachments and pegboard on one side. Will have to save up my pennies for that one and watch for a sale. I am purging my guest room and turning it into my (happy) creative space.

The dividers on the WRMK card looked like regular drawer dividers I got at The Container Store in their kitchen storage section. They were similar to these: www.containerstore.com/s/drawer-organizers/White/Customizable/3-dream-drawer-organizers/1cfd?productId=10028015, though the ones I got aren't adjustable. On mine, I had to cut the divider down to fit the drawer, and slip it into the brackets that come with the set. These other ones look more user-friendly. You can also use foam core board to make dividers--just cut it to the length you need to fit in your bin. If you want them to sit in place like the ones in the photo Elisa showed, just stick some adhesive foam insulation strips to the sides of the card, & wedge the foam core dividers in place. I did that with drawers in a sewing desk I built about 8 years ago, and they still are in perfect condition. I used this kind, which you can get at home improvement stores for less than $4/roll: www.lowes.com/pd/M-D-17-ft-x-3-4-in-Gray-Window-Seal-Foam-Window-Weatherstrip/1096049. Anyway, hope this helps save some $$$! :)

Came here specifically to warn against these. If they were sturdy, they'd be great. The metal frame does not stay in place (I even put Lock-tite on all the screws, no help) and the drawers fall off the runners, collapsing onto each other. I even bought this at Office Depot when it was $40. Very wobbly, I hardly ever move it because that makes it even worse. Constantly trying to fix this for the past 10 years, I ought to send it to the landfill. Donating it would be mean to whoever took it.

I ordered the Gramercy online last week because all online orders were 20% off. It was listed @ $59, w/20% off it came down to $39. I had a $10 gift card so I got it for the same price as my Lexington. I was going to buy a teal Raskog last year but they discontinued that color & the alternative was baby-poop brown. I see they now have a very tempting blue. The Lexington was a breeze to put together; I wouldn't have been able to assemble the Gramercy without this video by ThisisRealLife: th-cam.com/video/LDH2AmTKCC4/w-d-xo.html. The hardest part was connecting the top & bottom side bars as I couldn't keep the buttons down far enough to slip into the bottom rails (I had the same problem with my Kenmore cannister accessories). I'd like to get the $65 5-shelf wire shelves from Target if they are ever on sale.
