- I took a mini vacation down to one of my favorite places in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta. I love the weather, the people, the town, the nightlife, the food and most of all, THE PLANTS. This place is truly a plant haven. You can easily find plants like a Monstera, Bird of Paradise, Ficus Elastica, Pothos, Philodendron and more growing throughout the streets of Puerto Vallarta. But a must do for sure is to check out Vallarta Botanical Gardens. An outdoor Botanical Garden with so many varieties of plants. They also have a nice trail for hiking, you can swim in the river and a must do is eat at the restaurant where they have the best stuffed avocado ever.

Come to California there’s so much to see! The Huntington library, Los Angeles County arboretum, Los Angeles zoo also has amazing plants & animals & descanso gardens! Especially with all the rain we’ve had this year!

OMG, those ginormous Anthuriums, and Monsteras. If you ever visit NYC, go to the Bronx Botanical Garden. Do you have a plant sitter for your beautiful plants, for when you go on vacation? I almost forgot, Where you able to buy and any plants in Puerto Vallarta?

It must have been hard to tear yourself away from that place. I'm glad you did not narrate the tour so we just take in the visual overload. But then again, I kept saying "Wait, what was that? Back up so I can see the label." Did you take cuttings? Lol.
