@@A.l.l16 What I used is colloidal oatmeal. It's super fine. I prefer commercially ground but I have ground my own in a pinch before. From my understanding, colloidal oats contain the bran which is removed in oat flour. But standard oats typically contain the bran too. I'd do some googling and learn more. It can be a bit confusing.

The INCI for colloidal oatmeal is Avena sativa (oat) Flour. My understanding is some consider it colloidal based on the fineness of the grind and others consider it colloidal if it contains the bran. There seems to be a bit of a gray area there.
Hi Holly, What do you recommend for temperature on lye and oils? I see some people talk about having the lye pre made like you said with yours. How will the temperature be if it’s done like the day before? I know the temp between lye and oils should be between 10 degrees different? I will appreciate your advice! Thanks

I soap at room temp so making the lye solution the day before works just fine.
