love the Harry Carey talk around 1:45:24 lol. You can tell Bill Russell was a big fan of Skip's Dad! and Skip, as usual, is his usual self-depreciatory self. I miss all three of these guys
What an Absolute Class Act!!!! Los Angeles is just Simply A Classic Organization And They've Always Been!!! Especially Boston Too I'll Give Them All The Credit In The World The Standing Ovation They Gave Chamberlain When It Was Gonna Be His Last Game In Boston As A Visiting Player With LA!!!!
You are correct. Julius Erving.. had knee Injuries early- in those days- they did not have the same equipment, medical care, conditions. He was a leaper.. all the jumping.. landing. He had knee issues by the time the ABA merged with the NBA Still could take over a game at times amazing basketball player and athlete!
Basketball will never be like that again. I miss those days so much. The players acted very professional.
Another close minded boomer/GenX comment🤦🏽
Same here.🏀
They’re very professional today. And haters call them “soft”. Can’t win
Thank you so much for posting these!!! Keep them coming, your channel rocks!
I remember watching this as a kid. What a video. Thank you for the memories. Needed this tonight 🤙🏼🧡
It'll never be this fun again. The rocking chair bit was hilarious. Salute this era.

Great upload - thanks. Is this your recording of the game?
13:21 According to Bill Russell…
#8 = Andre The Giant
#9 = Kareem Abdul Jabbar
44:19 Shaqtin' A Fool clip / entry / nominee (80s style)
Dr j retired too soon...he was just 37.
Doc’s knees were shot.
Doc retired at the right time too many go on past their primes
