Dream doesn't actually have a leader (since they did used to do the graduation system), but Mark was always considered be the leader just by virtue of being the eldest in the group. When he graduated, the group's "leaders" were Jaemin and Jeno because they're the more responsible members and are very caring and parent-like toward the others! Their music has evolved as they've grown over the last four years and feels really interesting and cohesive. NCT U is essentially a concept that for any NCT U song, members can be taken from any other NCT sub-unit depending on the concept of that particular song. In practice U songs haven't actually included Dream members (unless you count Mark), but it's a rotational idea so hopefully SM capitalises on that potential to bring new and unexpected combinations! Dream used to be considered a rotational group too, as the idea was that members would 'graduate' once they turned 20 and leave Dream, but recently SM made this particular original 7 members (which includes Mark, although he graduated from Dream in 2018) a fixed lineup. It's all still a little uncertain as to how it's going to work in practice, but the idea is that the current 7 members of Dream - Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung - will continue to promote as a fixed group for a Dream comeback but will also be free in case any U concept ever comes up.

Mark left because at the start Nct Dream was supposed to be an unit were the younger are in and when they become adult they "graduate" and leave the unit but since NctDream became a fixed unit he will come back for the next promotions. Also NCT only have three fixed unit Nct127 (the mature one) NctDream(the teenager one but it is slightly maturing now) and Wayv(the Chinese one) NctU is not a fixed unit but changes depending on the concept.

The member you liked from BOOM is Park Jisung. The one you said had a good voice was Renjun. The one that said "ice cream" in BOOM was Jaemin. NCT Dream doesn't have a leader. Back when Mark was still part of Dream, he was considered the leader because he was the eldest in the group. Now they don't really have a "leader," but Jaemin is like the "mom" of NCT Dream. They did have a bit of a break. The time in between We Go Up (last comeback with Mark) and BOOM was almost 11 months. Renjun and Chenle are Chinese but neither of them are part of WayV. Originally, the members of NCT Dream couldn't be part of other sub-units until they graduated except for Mark and Haechan because they debuted as part of NCT 127 first. BOOM came before Punch and Kick It, so it's more like the 127 songs looked like BOOM. I really recommend that you react to GO by NCT Dream.
Dream tends to have a more youthful sound, but they have evolved in the past years since the members are growing up. If you listen to the b-sides from the recent albums they still have some of that youthful and upbeat sound, and if you listen to their older albums you can definitely see how their style was different from 127. Actually, I prefer their youthful and pop sound but I don't know if they'll go back to it 😔

the unit you said on the very first part of the video, NCT U is called NCT United so basically NCT U is an open group, they are not a fixed group Unlike NCT 127. Well NCT in general is an Open group, they could add as many members they want, their group is Limitless
SM has indicated that they will make nct dream a fixed unit bringing back Mark. That doesn't mean that any one member will be limited to nct dream but now they are all at least 17/18 and they are not held to the same work hour limitations, which was why it made it easier to have a younger sub unit for management purposes. At present Heachan is in Dream, 127 and some nct u songs. Nct U is basically used to showcase individuals and smaller groups. Most of the ballads seem to be on NCT U. Mark until recently was in all the groups and will be again when they finish promotion for this most recent album. I think that SM still plans to keep adding new members as desired, but not sure how they plan to integrate. I think there are 21 members now. Heachan is presently the youngest member of 127 and U, but I'm sure that will change as more of the group is integrated for different songs in nct U in particular.

The Ice cream man is Jaemin and Haechan and Mark are both in Nct127 and NctDream. Mark left because at the start Nct Dream was supposed to be an unit were the younger are in and when they become adult they "graduate" and leave the unit but since NctDream became a fixed unit he will come back for the next promotions. Also NCT only have three fixed unit Nct127 (the mature one) NctDream(the teenager one but it is slightly maturing now) and Wayv(the Chinese one) NctU is not a fixed unit but changes depending on the concept.

Yeah Haechan is in NCT 127 but because Haechan, Jeno, Jaemin and Renjun won’t be graduating because SM Ent changed the graduation system so NCT DREAM will be like NCT U with members rotating around with NCT 127 and all that. The member you liked from BOOM is Park Jisung. The one you said had a good voice was Renjun. The one that said "ice cream" in BOOM was Jaemin. NCT Dream doesn't have a leader. Back when Mark was still part of Dream, he was considered the leader because he was the eldest in the group. Now they don't really have a "leader," but Jaemin is like the "mom" of NCT Dream. They did have a bit of a break. The time in between We Go Up (last comeback with Mark) and BOOM was almost 11 months.
Renjun and Chenle are Chinese but neither of them are part of WayV. Originally, the members of NCT Dream couldn't be part of other sub-units until they graduated except for Mark and Haechan because they debuted as part of NCT 127 first.
BOOM came before Punch and Kick It, so it's more like the 127 songs looked like BOOM.

Dream tends to have a more youthful sound, but they have evolved in the past years since the members are growing up. If you listen to the b-sides from the recent albums they still have some of that youthful and upbeat sound, and if you listen to their older albums you can definitely see how their style was different from 127. Actually, I prefer their youthful and pop sound but I don't know if they'll go back to it 😔

the unit you said on the very first part of the video, NCT U is called NCT United so basically NCT U is an open group, they are not a fixed group Unlike NCT 127. Well NCT in general is an Open group, they could add as many members they want, their group is Limitless

SM has indicated that they will make nct dream a fixed unit bringing back Mark. That doesn't mean that any one member will be limited to nct dream but now they are all at least 17/18 and they are not held to the same work hour limitations, which was why it made it easier to have a younger sub unit for management purposes. At present Heachan is in Dream, 127 and some nct u songs. Nct U is basically used to showcase individuals and smaller groups. Most of the ballads seem to be on NCT U. Mark until recently was in all the groups and will be again when they finish promotion for this most recent album. I think that SM still plans to keep adding new members as desired, but not sure how they plan to integrate. I think there are 21 members now. Heachan is presently the youngest member of 127 and U, but I'm sure that will change as more of the group is integrated for different songs in nct U in particular.

Nct’s units doesn’t have *officials* leaders, the only leader it’s Taeyoung from 127. And Jeno it’s in Boom, he’s the super blond one. And the end of graduated system it’s pretty recent, Mark it’s gonna have some participation in Dream stuff from now on

if you end up doing an NCT U video, I highly recommend 'Boss', 'Yestoday' and '7th Sense.' They're wonderful songs but also have really beautiful music videos. U is the rotational until of NCT, so there are no set members.

Most prefer 127 (and only like Boom, Ridin' and Go by the dreamies) since they can't wrap their head around the masterpieces that cuter and fresher concepts can be. (Applies EVEN MORE on girl groups)
