It’s different i think it’s mainly the terminology. You can do the MCCQE from SL coz it is a computer based exam. You can sit from your home they monitor you through remote proctoring

What are the basic requirments for the applying to MCCQE part 1? Primary medical qualification ( MBBS) or MD? with IELTS ?
MBBS OR MD. You have to open an account with the medical council of canada and verify your degree. This is the first step
