I always love your approach to makeup. It’s about everyday makeup that enhances your natural features. I also appreciate that you use a lighter application. Social media is full of beauty influencers who do really creative looks. Nothing wrong with this but you can tell that it looks cakey in real life despite the filters that they use. I also appreciate that you don’t cover over features that some people would consider flaws like the scar on your eyebrow (Robert Welsh does this as well). Personally I consider features like this to be characteristics that make you unique, not imperfections, which is an approach that I use as well. People are so obsessed with looking perfect that they don’t understand that characteristics like this make them unique and they are not flaws. Thank you for continuing to make beauty content like this that concentrates on techniques.
Awww bless you! 🫶🏽 thank you for this. I appreciate it. And yes, beauty sentiments vary and that is what makes beauty space interesting. You can always pick to see what works for you. 😘 I have had my eyebrow scar for as long as I remember and covering it is: 1. Takes up so much time! Hahah 2. I can’t see my face without it. I am happy to know that you find my vlogs insightful. I am one happy bunny! ❤️ Thanks for passing by! 😘
Wow! I usually don’t comment much but… You are so talented! It’s natural but precise, easy to follow and sublime! I found your channel because of fude, but I love your make up tutorials! Thank you.
Your techniques are amazing. I love your approach to make up, and the amount of detail you provide-not only about the product, but most importantly, why you do what you do to achieve a certain result. Thank you so so much for sharing!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Bless you @nathalie! I appreciate your kind words. And thank you for being here. I know how intimidating makeup can be! And I hope in showing a few things, it can prove useful and insightful and fun!
I know you are a big Lisa Eldridge fan. I've been her fan for over 10 years myself. Dare I say you are as talented and skilled as her? Being a local artist in the Philippines, of course, you don't get as much exposure as someone who does makeup for Hollywood red carpet or European runaways. It's still a very US-Europe-centered world. I came across your channel because I was looking for videos about Japanese brushes. Lucky me.
Hello to a fellow Lisa Eldridge fan! Funny you should say that! I actually first saw Lisa creating a makeup look on the Chanel website around the same time you found her website. It was only years after when a friend told me about her and I said, “She’s actually the reason why I go to the Chanel website!”. I humbly beg to differ, as there will no one be better than the Queen herself! But I am for sure inspired by her and our makeup sentiments is quite similar and for sure our inspirations. Our makeup journeys are very different here in comparison to other countries. Unfortunate as it seems, we just have to strike our own path. I’m glad our paths have crossed here and I have fude to thank for that! Are you a fude fan as well?
@@tortorre Yes! It started after I moved to Japan (I'm from Brazil). At first, I only wanted a handful of them. Little did I know I would soon fall into a rabbit's hole :) But I don't have a big collection anyway. I'm usually on a budget and can't justify having too many because I'm only an enthusiast and not a pro.
I want to get one of these quads but im having a hard time justifying the price. Is there really that much of a difference between this eyeshadow compared to others?
I understand where you are coming from. I’m sure there will be other palettes that would be comparable to this quad. It is up to you to choose which brand calls out to you, if you you want to support such brand and how much you are willing to pay for a makeup product. In the long run, you’ll get your money’s worth if you continue to use it on a daily basis until you hit pan. What I deem wasteful is buying something you are not using - may it be this palette or a cheaper alternative.
