people do not talk about how good KAT's attitude is at all i do not see him complain (at his teammates) i have never seen him not buy into his role on any team hes been a part of even back at kentucky, he is one of the most plug and play guys in the league and his additude is a part of that.

Yep he’s been through multiple horrible things in his career (with the 2 car crashes and all of his family deaths) but he kept playing and was always a team guy
Trading that good of a team player away after being the 2 seed and making the WCF is crazy

I think most players think KAT is a genuinely nice guy and not necessarily soft but fans make sense lol the constant complaining in non optimal situations is not a good look for a 7 footer. But compared to Randle the T wolves would probably much rather have KAT back in the long term for locker room chemistry

I think the biggest issue is the influence of individual ego. KAT had been the guy on that team for years, and had to step by for Ant to be the leader and step back to make space in the paint for Gobert. That willingness to accept a role as a star for the sake of the team cannot be understated in how it can influence others willingness to do the same. Now you replace him with with one of the biggest ego players in Randle, and it's not surprising that the willingness other players had to put their selfishness aside is gone. Beyond just his skill, KAT was the mental and emotional core of the team, and replacing him with one of the most self centered players was a horrible decision.

When we went from poverty to 7 seed with Pat Bev and Vando and then they traded those two, two picks and WALKER KESSLER (avg more blocks than Rudy in each season they've been in the league) all for a worse seeding (8) and a fight between the big contract Rudy and our wise vet Kyle Anderson. Then they come out with the best defense and by far best season in recent franchise history just to break up the chemistry and waste another season of our young core's career. They had such a good draft but decide to trade Kat and keep the rookies on the bench and play fucking JOE INGLES over Rob, Garza, and Minott. They are such a dumbass franchise, I'm just here for Ant, Naz and Jaden at this point. Fuck Rudy and every player we got in that trade. I hope KAT makes the finals and we don't.

Dane Moore made a great point on his podcast about the situation that part of this falls on Chris Finch too. It needs to be clear if post touches for Rudy via entry passes are part of the offense or not. I believe they shouldnt be part of the offensive plan. Half the time he doesn't catch it, part of the time he puts the ball on the floor and turns it over, and part of the time he's just not making the post shot. He should be used as a roller and a lob threat/drop off pass threat in the dunker spot. Both players are in the wrong here, but if the offensive gameplan isn't clear, situations like this happen.

Ive watched every timberwolves game, and honestly like Kenny said i think rudy does need to see the ball on seal offs a little bit more. This i think was a frustration from this whole season. During breaks rudy has his man beat and instead of getting the ball the ball handler will miss him completely. That being said rudy has to be a pro, man that 3 second violation was literally the turning point that night i was there watching the game, and right after that play the energy was just shut down. Also RUDY HAS 80% From the FREETHROW LINE. He looks like he really worked on it over the summer so even if he struggles to finish sometimes i think he deserves a few touches down there.

Randle and Rudy looked smarter on both sides of the ball. This video showed a lot of insight for the whole picture with what's going on here in Minnesota, Rudy has been a turnover machine all season so far when he's gets fed in the post and I think randle was just over it and is sick of dealing with him, they just need to hash it out and work through it, and like you said, Rudy desperately needs to develop a push shot and improve his offensive game or nobody will ever want to pass the rock to him anymore.

This is all on Randle ion blame Gobert. At any level if your big has a seal like that you get him the ball, any big would be pissed if they really care about the game if you don’t get them the ball on a seal especially like that. That’s what comes with being a ball handler
