10:13 just got the Oman version of Lilac Love in old lilac colored bottle with silver cap, and with the name printed in front. This is GORGEOUS! Exactly as described - not sweet on the tongue, but sweet in the nose, powdery, purple florals. Projection is great for about 4-5 hours and stays in personal zone for hours after that. I would lose my mind and buy up every bottle in existence if this was ever reformulated😅. TBH I feel that way about all my Amouage collection including Honor 43, Portrayal, Lilac Love. I would add Guidance there except for that one musky note in the dry down I don’t much care for. The other 3 are sheer perfection.
I love Lilac Love! I sampled it this Spring and my sample was also dark orange in color (I’m in the U.S.) I just ordered a full bottle of that and Sunshine this week and when they arrive, I’ll compare color. However, samples and decants get a lot more contact with air and light, which can darken juice color, so that’s probably why the samples look darker.
My first Amouage I purchased is guidance! It’s one of their newest scents and I fell in love after a few days. It made me gag the first time I smelled it but amouage is a fragrance house that takes patience. They’re very complex and heavy scents that go on a journey while wearing. I blind bought sunshine now so hopefully I will like it.
I absolutely love Guidance, it’s on my wish list. You can tell that Amouge is changing their style a lil bit. This one definitely smells more crowd pleasing. Sunshine is the most likable in Amouage 😊

When I bought UK version of Lilac Love it has light colour too. Now, 3 years after, it has dark brown cherry colour. It is because of perfume ageing. It happens with many perfumes with high level on vanilla (for example) in it. After I heart your description and big power of Love Tuberose -I retested it again😅

Amouage uses a lot of naturals which do change colors and yes there are batch differences between the Oman and the UK ones. I prefer the Oman versions. Also your lineup is mostly newer releases, things like Dia have been reformulated.

You should try Epic. It’s definitely spicer than Honour, Lilac and the others but not as Journey. It has notes of Frankincense and it complements the lighter perfumes soooo well if you mix it with them. It’s extremely unique and rich!
I know that Epic is very popular. I should try it. I also wanna try all of men’s amouage, I heard that they smell great on women too.😄 Too bad I can’t go anywhere and smell them, I have to purchase actual samples.

There’s more of a heliotrope than actual lilac. If you ever smelled real lilac flowers, it’s not it.
