Idk if you have discovered this yet but D.Va can eat his ult if she looks up & catches the "rain" with defense matrix. Though it only protects herself, and no one behind her or anything.
The spikes are just projectiles, so this works with anything that can block/eat projectiles. Barriers like Rein shield, “eat” abilities like D.Va’s DM, Genji’s deflect, and Zarya bubbles all work as well.
hazard is genuinely so fun he's all i've been playing for the past couple days, most likely gonna main him he's my kinda play style, the team outdid themselves on this one
me too (once my ps5 gets fixed) the couple of minutes i plaid reminded me SOOOO much of how i felt playing Queen so im definitely gonna pick him up and get back to tank!!
I had heard one my my friends complain cause hazard was to broken rn, like i get him being able to take high ground is annoying but he aint broken hes fun hes not OP hes not mauga hes not orisa hes just overall a fun tank whos ironiclly really balanced rn
He doesn't need nerfs. In an actual comp game all the other tanks have tools that counter him or just flat out out damage him or block more damage. He's the only tank in the game that can't kill through a mercy pocket on a squishy other than Winston. But Winston has better mobility and bubble makes his dives much safer.
@654789qwe Sorry to burst your bubble, but its going to happen when they drop him on the 10th... either that or it might be a mega buff who knows. That's what the place test is for and it's Blizzard so yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he did got a nerf on his release day.
I have noticed that in the play test of a new hero there's in almost all the games a sombra that doesn't let u play the new hero, it happens me with Illari, it happens me with Juno, Mauga, and now with Hazard, those players are the real demons
I don't know how I'll feel about it. I've only played ow2 so I'm not so sure on 6v6...after all. Classic made me want to uninstall more than any 5v5 game. Lol

He melts easy if the team actually looks at him. Ana zen alone can kill him with sleep nade and discord. He needs Kiri even more than mauga to be viable.
His Ultimate is underwhelming right now. Should create a damaging field of spikes, on top of what it already does, to fit his name better. A small buff to his homing spike range would go a long way to make it not feel so bad. I get he's meant to be a close-range guy, but those spikes wouldn't be OP if they could reach just slightly further. Similarly, they should slightly increase the the width of his wall to allow for more consistent boops when aimed at a wall. Right now it feels like a complete gamble on if you'll actually shoot someone off a ledge or somehow just nudge them forward/back a little bit.
What in the world are you talking about lmao. It goes through walls, has long range, and immobilizes everyone in its path. It’s among the strongest últs in the game.
Not really, his leap doesn't send him too far. All the crazy roll outs you see people doing are just for Reddit posts. Do that in comp and your team will already be dead by the time your done trying to set everything up.

The block doing auto damage is kinda broken. I got so many free kills with it. Maybe it should instead do some kind of debuff instead of damage. Like reducing movement, firerate, or maybe some kind of effect buildup instead.
he's a dive tank! Try controlling the map with an extra mei wall, or go Lucio to boop combo into the spike wall. Or go any hero to capitalize on his ultimate that roots enemies
His gameplay is amazing, engaging and most importantly VERY fun. This makes it sting even more that he has such an atrocious, bland and overall boring design :(
boring and bland design how? dude has a turtle shell on his back and a cannon attached a as missing arm. characters like widow or soldier 76 must really annoy you then.
I personally don't mind his design as is. But i do also like his original ow1 concept design a bit more. I think he right now kinda looks like an Arcane Zaunite character, and I love Arcane, so im just being biased 😂
I feel what he means with bland design is that Hazard doesn't give main character vibes, soldier does give that badass lone wolf vibe and Ass has main villain Widow.
@@ubadman1 Widow and Soldier have lore, so it kinda makes up for that, honestly. If Blizzard cared about making interesting characters anymore, they'd make more animatics or at least better character designs. Hazard has neither.
I was so excited I could queue all roles this weekend without getting tank and I still get tank 70-80% of the time -_-

I plan on getting him to GM when he fully releases, my highest rank is only Plat 4 so it will be difficult

I'm expecting the Overwatch Team to nerf every single aspect of this fun character, just like Illiari

Hes fun to play.. but playing against him is absolute cancer. His tempo control is fucking insane, I thiink that he will need quite a bit of balancing

Hazard often uses is block to stall until leap returns. You can hinder/cc him at the end of block to destroy him.

Brother they hit everything in a huge area, go through walls, deal 100 damage, and lock out their movement for a long time. It's fine lol

winston ball doom and diva have more mobility he gets obliterated in every single tank duel thats why hes balanced

Nah, its easy to get away from once you learn, you only ever get kills from unaware players or ppl that think they can tank it

It’s essentially a Winston zap and he moves very slowly during it
The block is basically a winston left click. You can avoid it by simply backing away
and sombra is the wrong way to design a fun damage hero
