I have an HO Scale powered model of this box cab. Model Diecast/Roundhouse Products made the kits for many years. Trying to find a complete kit or working model is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Sure many are found on sites like ebay... but to find an unbuilt , complete kit ?...... hardly, lol .
IRM is restoring Lackawanna 3000 currently. Not sure if she’ll run or not, but it’s been ongoing for MANY years now.
A true piece of history, and as The History Guy would say, it's history that deserves to be remembered
It certainly is a piece of history, and it’s quite a unusual thought that this diesel belongs more to the steam age than the diesel age
Very cool. I was at the B&O Museum a little over a month ago and did not see this.
It's hidden in the back of the North Car Shop, behind Allegheny 1604.
Absolutely Beautiful restoration
Beautiful boxcar locomotive
I would kill to hear this thing run... anyone know of any operational 6-PR engines?
Hey, it's the one from Railroad Tycoon 3 2-D-2!
in Denmark are one from 1921 Maribo Bandholm veterantog
History now, history forever
An absolute beauty!
WOW that's awesome 😊😊😊🥇🥇
This was the beginning to the end for the steam train era!
Too bad that lady had to talk and stand in front of it the whole time
I was actually just out of that shot while this was taken, i have video to prove it

I built something based off of that in a video game. I named it: triserizilla mk1.
As long as they keep Conrail6370 a.k.a. Lenny shaner out of there to damage or steal parts off of it.
