If I don't know how to move forward, I get some distance from the problem, distract myself but let the problem stay in my mind until a creative solution arises.
Now I understand mental models are like mouldable filters to analyse each piece of information to build a bigger picture of the whole. It’s like seeing a 3D movie with 3D glasses and off course along with 🍿😂. Btw love your content ❤
You always give us loooot of information 👍😍 thank you so much 😍u have a question Suppose koi ek new schedule banata hay ,aur bahut dedicatedly karna chahta hay, but o jitna uss kaam ko dedicate karna chahta hay ....o utna hi uss kaam ko start hi nhi kar pata hay....Aisa q aur kab hota hay?! Sir plz guide me and us Thank you so much for your love and support for us.
hello, sid...can you please make a video on how to deal with any kind of fear like the fear of darkness, and what is the neuroscience of fear, in a detailed video. it will be a great help.
Out of syllabus but if you believe me one thing I can tell you is: what u want is solution. Ignorance is not possible here as darkness always be there, so accept that. Now you have to collect the data about darkness like from simple question like what is darkness? How other people do handle it? What are your perception about darkness? Why, When you fear ? Write it down on paper. Now u need a mentor, or friend or family or doctor who you believe on.( Most important one). Now step by step you have to face the darkness with the mentor, your perception will change after some days. Make a report card. For atleast 21 days. After 21 days I will assure the Darkness perception will be changed. Actually this is nothing but change about habit which u had made perception about darkness from many years. Now you have to give only 21 days for habit to change. Can't you do it for 21 days. Yes
I started following you after watching your video in TRS 😍 neoroscience is really a core of human being 👍may you please share sir could I learn neuroscience from distance education!? thank you
Thankyou boss for this video. Ps:- i was also thinking about joining gym but i have been procrastinating it since last 3-4 days thinking that neet pg is around the corner. First principle model might work for me. Thank you boss 😊
**NOTES** Mental models are powerful tools for understanding and navigating the world around us. In this video, we'll explore the top 3 mental models that will help you think smarter, make better decisions, and achieve your goals. These models are simple, yet powerful, and will help you see the world in a new light. Watch now to learn more! **What is a mental model?** our brain will constantly take in all that information try to sort it into patterns that you can recognize and tell you what is important and what is not our brain is a pattern recognizing machine but how we recognize those patterns and how we use it is what today's conversation is all about. **mental model**: representing how somebody's outside world gets translated into their understanding. there is a **flaw in this mental model because it relies on the master image** explaining everything what happens if you find a piece in the jigsaw puzzle that is not there in the master image so you may feel sad you may feel confused, or you may feel angry. **how can we improve that model?** stand while you are observing new information & deciding on how to act on it & giving you space and boundaries. 1. **first principle thinking**: (Elon musk use this) every problem that you face in life are based on certain core principles of physics, biology, chemistry and Mathematics so the four steps in first principal's thinking is **define the problem → break problem into core elements → change the elements → re-work solution**. I use first principles thinking when it comes to **neuroscience and mental health because I believe that Neuroscience is at the core of all human behavior** so for example if you're struggling to go to the gym instead of being fixated on the final outcome of getting six packs you should break the problem down into exactly what is stopping you what are the interferences how you can get over those small little obstacles and what are the marginal gains that you can keep track of **breaking a big problem down into small fixable complications is easier and far more doable**. 2. **inversion technique**: (Stoics use this) they had a cognitive exercise where they asked themselves the negative of every question before they took a decision. if you start answering that you may find that there are some things in your answer that you are actually doing and putting it that way can actually **trigger a different thought process** this is a powerful tool because it puts **a spotlight on things you should avoid or on mistakes that you may be making but you don't confess to yourself**, and another advantage of this technique is that you are **facing the fear of negative outcomes** and now that you've thought about that worst case scenario you can now be **empowered to take steps against that.** you'll find that you will avoid those things much more easily later. 3. **Feynman's technique**: (Made by the greatest Physics professor) the essence of the Feynman technique of thinking as Albert Einstein said if you can't explain a topic simply you haven't really understood it **whatever it is that you are learning try to teach it to someone** now the advantage of teaching is that your **brain processes information differently** when you're learning versus when you are teaching because **when you're learning your focus is on memory and retention** whereas **when you are teaching you are more likely to spot new patterns, find new metaphors, use different examples from your own life to explain it to someone especially if that's someone doesn't have any prior knowledge of the subject** you may find yourself making the topic simpler and simpler for that other person and in doing so you yourself understand it better and better.
Thank you sir for your support 😍so simply explains 👍Mee too very interested to learn and understand neoroscience 😍 thank you so much for sharing with the World 👍
Hi, being ADHA my mental model had been to vocalise my lessons without much choice to read quietly. I'm 28years and I still opt relatively anything dramatic or catchy rhyme rhymes to denote jargons with random things to somehow make relevant engagement with content. And then try making point to put down when I'm still drifted in beautiful chaos of mind
Actually....i was already using the first mental mode......in my studies.......i question.....why I'm not able to understand this topic..... reason maybe... because of some words concept....etc....when i try to clear them.....same this happen there also......and after some time i reach to core......by doing.......i call this method..... going back to class 1

**What is a mental model?**
our brain will constantly take in all that information try to sort it into patterns that you can recognize and tell you what is important and what is not our brain is a pattern recognizing machine but how we recognize those patterns and how we use it is what today's conversation is all about.
**how can we improve that model?**
stand while you are observing new information & deciding on how to act on it & giving you space and boundaries.
1. **first principle thinking**: (Elon musk use this) every problem that you face in life are based on certain core principles of physics, biology, chemistry and Mathematics so the four steps in first principal's thinking is **define the problem → break problem into core elements → change the elements → re-work solution**. powerful tool because it puts **a spotlight on things you should avoid or on mistakes that you may be making but you don't confess to yourself**, and another advantage of this technique is that you are **facing the fear of negative outcomes** and now that you've thought about that worst case scenario you can now be **empowered to take steps against that.** you'll find that you will avoid those things much more easily later.

patterns, find new metaphors, use different examples from your own life to explain it to someone especially if that's someone doesn't have any prior knowledge of the subject** you may find yourself making the topic simpler and simpler for that other person and in doing so you yourself understand it better and better.
