This was a great play through! I really appreciate how you talked through your decisions and presented the game. I really enjoyed watching you play. I preordered Gutenberg as soon as it was available, but I haven’t gotten it to the table yet. I found the rulebook a little difficult to grasp. But watching your play really helped clarify my questions and solidify my understanding. I’ll be bringing this to board game night soon. Thank you so much! 😃
It's an interesting game, I like the bidding mechanism and the pushing up of different tracks. I don't think the game does anything new or amazing so it's not one I would rush to buy.
GG guys. Fantastic play. This game is very fun. I need to hunt it down. The only thing I do not get is why the board is so big and has only sliver cards on. They could have gone for smaller board or bigger cards. Oh, well. Big love!
Managed to table thanks to one of our club member's UKGE purchase - played with 4 and had a great time, it was really manageable time wise even with a rules teach. let's go wit the 'iou's!
I hope Rodney graces us with a video teaching how to play Imperium, I'm about to finally get both classic and legends, and everyone says it's a tough learn.
I really like this game - it has a classic Euro look and feel (although the typeface blocks put it a step above in terms of production quality). a well-integrated theme, and nail-biting decisions. Thanks for the playthrough! (And we learned how to play from Rodney.)
33:52, he did 2 gear actions and I thought the third gear action meant he'd get a grey and he didn't activate it. Mostly I guess I'm just trying to confirm what that gear action he didn't activate gets the player.
@@NolanTrapp Naveen did the top gear twice - something he can do because of his special ability (and to help show this, it would have been beneficial to stack two of the tokens on that one action, to keep track of the 3 gear actions he used). This is why he wasn't also able to get the grey ink token from the other gear. Hope that makes sense - let me know if you have any questions.
You guys do such a good job with your videos!! It s a pleasure to watch your playthroughs!!
Thank you for the kind words!

I've been very curious about this so nice to see a playthrough.
Hope it helps give you a good sense of the game play!
Appreciate the playthrough, wasn't sure about this but has now peaked my interest.
Thanks for checking it out!

Thank you Eric!

So glad you enjoyed the video and you've been enjoying the game!
Fun game, on fathers' day my step daughters got me some fancy bits for the inks. Good stuff!
Oh, that's a cool idea!
That says so much about your relationship with them ❤ love it
Great game, thanks for playing it.
A pleasure!
Lots of similarities to the game Fresco! From painters to typesetters. Great play through as always!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Was Naveen's cog shirt an intentional nod to the cog motif in the game??
I certainly hope it was! -Rodney
Greetings from Poland. Nice to see you are playing Polish game! I'm really surprised! Have you played any others? Maybe Neuroshima Hex 3.0?
I know I have - we'll have to see if they have too. -Rodney
Reminds me a lot of Fresco. Have you guys played that?
I don't know if Monique and Naveen have, but I have. -Rodney
Hi Tommy! We haven't played Fresco. It's sitting unplayed on our shelf actually!
WARNING! Incoming Dad Joke: I can't play this game. I am on a Guten Free diet.
*tip of the hat*
In round 3, why didn't he get a gray ink?
Do you have a time stamp to the moment you are asking about?
