It varies. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood won AI and are huge stars. Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtrey did not win. Fame and stardom a funny thing, so many factors needed, good voice, charisma, uniqueness, authenticity, marketability, timing ... too much to list.

These singing shows AI, Voice, Four, etc ... are just about gaining TV exposure, that's it. They DO NOT guarantee success in the music biz, but The Four backs the winner pretty well. On these shows, the producers, judges make the BIG BUCKS and I'll bet the contestants work for standard artists pay. anyway, Zhavia is now back in the real music world, trying to rise up against established titans wayy up on Billboard charts like Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Drake, etc, etc.... I believe very much in her, she's got so much going for her. I have no idea how big she will get, but it sounds cliche, .... time will tell

There were some other's performances I really enjoyed a lot in season 1: Saeed's Superstition was lit to the max. Evvie Mckinney I Never Loved a Man. Nick Harrison's remake of Bad Boys for Life was super dope. Listen to those lyrics, they were smokin'. Tim Johnson Jr. put up a hell of a challenge with 'girl you're perfect' but Zhavia won with Say Something. I've just discovered Zhavia and this song really reminds me of singers and music in Hawaii; the tones of her voice, the way she does her runs, the flow of her voice when she sing/raps, all of it is similar to Hawaii song artists. I don't really keep up with artists so I don't have a bunch of good examples off the top of my head aside from Eli-Mac and Tenelle. I'll definitely keep a watch on this girl and hope she stays on a good path.

I agree, its a real mix up of a selection of genres. I loved the first song Zhavias popped out, the lyrics genuinely touched me. But I am so happy to see her have a upbeat fun chilling vibing just feel like dancing to song.. I’m not big on other social medias so when an artist uploads songs with music videos like zhavias doing atm it speaks volumes its different, its accessible, she makes it her own and can transform to each version of the lyrics and video.
