    My goal is to run 10 miles with minimal breaks at a conversational pace by the end of summer. I’m already halfway there and I think I might do a half marathon in December!

    • @oross7040
      @oross7040 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@antoinegoode8990 no, the thing is, they are amazing, but they don't last very long and are generally only used for hard workouts and races, such as the marathon. But in the video he uses then for just a regular long run which can be bad for your form and wear out the shoe quickly. If you're looking for a good shoe for your son I highly recommend the Hoka rocket x2's or alphaflys. They are both great super shoes

    For now, just after I decided to run a marathon in Łódź City in Poland, my biggest problem is the fact that this is running for like 6 hours or more. I usually run for like an hour and the biggest distance is 10 km. The fact that there is 42km to run is not that scary like the thought that it means running for few hours and it's better to keep the tempo like you were giving here, instead of my best below 6 minutes/kilometer

    I love running, before. It's my habit, if I feel not sleepy at night, I gear up and run for a while 10k. After that I sleep. But, everything change since I noticed every time after a long run. After a few min. Rest, the back of ankle really hurts badly...and it happens every time after a routine....I really really really really wonder, what are the reasons behind all that pain...need help...need to run.,.,plss....coz I'm getting fat....again

  • @dannycruz366

    • @Byourowncoach

      If this helps, don’t be discouraged, just takes the right running plan, time and effort. I used to be the same 6 months ago. Now on my 15 mile Long runs I’m averaging 8min per mile in zone 2 when I used to think that was a crazy fast pace. You got this shit G, keep at it!

      he’s probably running a normal pace where at races/marathons, you run race pace which isn’t as fast as you can go but fast enough to still be able to conserve energy.

      @Dakk Dak I know your comment is 7 months old, but generally you want to run at 60 to 70 percent throughout the week before a race or marathon because you want adequate rest while also keeping your muscle prepare for the big run. Also risk of injury before race day and marathon is huge concern. Also it help building up your cardio and stamina without huge risk of injury and feeling burnouts
