How I see this is see, I have a Niko and Roman Like relationship with my own cousin, and he’d blow up my phone every day and every hour and well, while it was annoying after a while, when my phone got blown up less, I missed it, and I can only imagine Niko’s pain from Not only having Roman never calling him again but the fact that Roman is dead, I actually almost cried at this ending
17:38 I love how Niko says this. It’s like he’s going to watch over their every move from a distance and make sure no one hurts the people close to him ever again.
@@No-ik5nj It really is! Surprised not many think of this! Niko watching the kid from the shadows as they grow up and always defend them when they're in danger.. I feel like this concept deserves to be explored!
The GTA V 's storyline is a shit the most emotionnal storyline is GTA IV , when I finish the game i cried like a baby sorry if my english is bad i'm 13 and french
I'll have to agree now. Not a lot of comic relief in this game compared to the others. Plus, you have to sacrifice SOMEBODY at the end of the game, where in GTA V you can kill off a character in one game and still play as all three in another.
The revenge ending is more like it, you get revenge on Dimitry and pegerino kills kate. I've played the game 4 times I never have chosen to work dimitry.
Roman was a scumbag gambler who blamed Niko for being kidnapped and plugged in the gut, he was an annoying liability and only made it harder for Niko, who earned money so that the fat clown could fritter it away in online games
@@alexmt6141 You haven't played San Andreas then... Big Smoke making a deal with the Ballas encouraged by C.R.A.S.H. to not only distribute cocaine on a wide scale, but essentially forcing GSF to work with the Ballas. Big Smoke is one of the four OGs that can control the fate of the GSFs. With Sweet being in jail and Carl exiled to Angel Pine, GSF fell. There's even side events called "Big Smoke's Cash" and you see GSF members working for Smoke and shooting you if you stop them. Also, I'm not mentioning Ryder even though he is an OG, because his character got a little bit altered during the development of the game. Ryder was never meant to betray GSF. He was either suppose to be killed during the Green Sabre mission or exiled and help Carl out. Essentially replacing Ceaser's role. But because his voice actor had to leave during mid game development, they decided to make Ryder a traitorous character and eventually killing him off. Even though he's really irrelevant to the story line after Los Santos. Imo, I think they should have simply killed him off in the Green Sabre mission. Better to die as a hero than a traitor.
“I want Roman back” This hit hard, I’ve played GTA 4 since day one and I always chose revenge, so this is the first time I’ve ever seen this and it REALLY hit. Makes you realize how dark this game was
Even when Jacob tells Niko he won he’s not happy or glad for his friend, he’s just stating a fact, an observation more than a compliment since he was friends with Roman too and he is also hurt from Romans death.
Yep, and it sucks. Ain't no dream, man. It's more like a nightmare. Ain't no victory either, man. Just a bunch of bad, corrupt people doing bad, corrupt things just to make it to the top.
Niko's speaks Eastern European and Jacob speaks Rasta. They don't speak each other's languages and there is a cultural difference between them and yet they are so loyal to each other. That's true friendship.
Other GTA protagonists: “I kill people for money and to gain a reputation in this city” Niko Bellic: “I kill people to survive, and atleast keep Roman safe away from those people who want him dead and get him out of debt”
After Roman died, I wanted to go bowling with someone, so I pulled up my phone, called up Roman, and it went to voicemail... oh well, maybe Jacob would like to go bowling. Beat him 300 - 110. What a noob.
@@ahmedzahranJPNiko already his problem about dimitry to pegorino, but pegorino doesn't calre a problem between Niko and Dimitry in the past, he just want his bussiness keep alive.
Gta San Andreas is also a masterpiece by the gameplay but the story is pretty simple while gta iv story is really dark deep game needs you to focus on the lore and gameplay this two games where truly a master masterpiece
The depressive atmosphere of Dark Grey makes GTA IV a legend. After many years of completing this game, I can still feel the resounding of Niko's epilogue, "This is what the dream feels like. This is the victory we longed for."
"So, this is what the dream feels like, this is the victory we longed for." Possibly the biggest kick in the face the game could have pulled off. As the player, we naturally want to see Niko succeed, to live the "American Dream" that he longed for. All the murders he committed, the jobs he's taken, all leading up to that final "victory", and what does he have to show for it? The corpse of his cousin, the one person that was always there for him, the one person that Niko had when he had absolutely nothing else. Killed by the one person that Niko could have killed when he had the chance. It's kind of strange in a way, to have a series like GTA, with all the jokes and thrills of stealing and killing it's known for, be able to pull off such a melancholic ending like that.
To be fair, GTA only became the goofy Fast and Furious simulator we know today thanks to GTA 5. Previous GTAs had dark storyline, definitely not as dark as GTA IV, but they had
@@dark_hood7 Sure, let's play as an 11 year old murdering, robbing psychopath! Yay! On a serious note, they'd have to make the game take place in the future. Every single GTA game released has taken place the same year that it got released in, so making GTA VI take place in the future would be pretty odd.
traci beachel yeah and people mostly like GTA V because apparently half assed driving and planning shit for the FIB is great yeah and the AI fuck its awful you stand in front of someone and you're not even looking at them they call the cops why because they cared mostly satisfying GTA SA nostalgic morons than making another great story
traci beachel I don't even look at them and 5 driving is pathetic can't drift all the cars drive the same and GTA 5 is for GTA SA its pretty obvious look at Franklin a copy and paste version of CJ.
traci beachel My point simple you're a fanboy and CJ and Franklin have Sweet/Lamar who believe they changed and become a big shot then let's see Big Smoke/Stretch both have nicknames both end up selling out there friends and CJ and Franklin both go on crazy adventures and they end up doing work for the government not to mention they own a big ass mansion on Vinewood Hills.
traci beachel And Gta 4 is barely like 3 Claude doesn't have emotions and Niko sure does Claude only wants to kill Catalina because she betrayed and shot him while Niko gets betrayed by almost everyone for survival and and why try when I already drove on 4 you can drift easily and all Cars on 5 drive the same so what's your point on the driving of 4s it doesn't even handle like a boat it feels like when you drive in real life your shit at first but then you get use to it.
If I did this mission the final mission of the deal I’ll be crying because Roman was annoying, but I loved him because Roman never hurt anyone in. I’ll never meet his son
(2nd Dialogue, Niko and Jacob begins tailing the mobsters) Niko: Alright, so this guy is taking us to his bosses. We cannot kill him yet then. I guess I'll just have to pass the time by thinking about how much I'm going to punish these scum. Jacob: Just be calm now, rasta. Just make sure you don't lose that blood clot. Think about how ya gwan mash dem up when time ya find out which part dem a hide. Niko: I must think of something. Jacob: Seen, think about how you going to bust these bitches up then. Niko: I can't believe I did that deal with Dimitri. How could I trust him? I'm a fool. I thought the money would help Roman and the people I loved. Jacob: A leopard don't chance him spots, ya know, Niko. A man stab you in the back once, he's gonna keep stabbing until the job is done, seen? Niko: I have finally learnt this lession. It has taken the death of my cousin, but it is something I must accept. (Niko and Jacob continues to tail the mobsters) Niko: Come on! Why does this take so long? Where are these idiots hiding out? Jacob: Easy, Niko. Just be calm now. Pegorino and Dimitri be splitting up the large amount of money dem get from the business deal. Everybody in Liberty City know that, so dem after the money too. So dem man dem haffi hide out for real. Niko: They could not hide anywhere that would keep me away from them. To get them back for what they have done? I would look for them in every corner of the earth. Jacob: Roman was a good man, ya know. He had a righteous heart, ya know, star. Jah know him in a better place now. Niko: Roman should be in his marriage bed! He was a good man. No matter what happened to him, he would never be angry or upset for more than a minute. If there was any way I could chance my actions so that he would not die, I would do it. I would sacrifice anything. Jacob: What's done is done, and there ain't no way to chance what happen earlier. Niko: You are right, but we can chance what is about to happen. We can make sure that Roman's life is not the only one that is lost today. Jacob: Yes, we just need to stay on this bumba clot and we'll be able to mash them up real good. Niko: I am doing my best. (Niko and the mobsters exit Plumber's Skyway) Niko: Are we getting near to them or is this man taking us on a tour around Alderney!? Jacob: I can tell him getting nervous, ya know, Niko. He's driving different. We must be getting close. Niko: He has reason to be nervous, the man who will kill his employer is following him. Jacob: Yo, Niko. Dimitri and Pegorino gwan have mad firepower on the ground. This ain't gwan be easy. The boy leading us back because he thinks his boys is going to tear us to pieces and ting. Niko: Well then I am looking forward to disappointing his expectations. Jacob: Me understand, ya know, rasta. It's a good thing that blood clot don't know you as good as I and I know ya, ya know? If he did, ya know, say his boss don't have long to live on this earth. Niko: I had the opportunity to settle my score with Dimitri the other day! But I chose not to take it. Instead I did the business deal that lead to Roman getting killed. Had I got rid of Dimitri then, the bloodshed would have ended. Jacob: There ain't no guarantee you gonna make it, bredren. I and I don't know what our actions can do and ting. Anything could happen if you kill Dimitri on that day. Niko: Yes, but the chances of my cousin being dead would be much slimmer. Roman was a gambler, he would've liked those odds. (Niko and Jacob begin chasing Dimitri in an Annihilator) Jacob: Who dat inna the helicopter? Did Dimitri and Pegorino both leave when you get in the ground? Niko: No, Dimitri killed Pegorino when I arrived. I don't think he likes to share. Jacob: A snake always be a snake, ya know, rasta. Dimitri woulda steal from his own mother to get ahead, ya know. Niko: I think he probably did. We'd have to go to Russia to find out though. Maybe we should go with Dimitri's body. Bury him in his homeland. Jacob: Cha! A burial be too good for that bumba clot, ya know, He ain't worth putting in the ground, ya know, star. We leave him out for the dogs and crows. Niko: We catch him, then we kill him, then we decide what to do with the body. How's that sound, Jacob? Jacob: Yeah, man. Yeah, man. How' the ginnal get away from you anyway, Niko? You think you get that boy for sure? Niko: He had many men there. Both Russians and Pegorino's men. I had to fight through a lot of people to get to Dimitri. Jacob: Yes, Niko. A whole heap of bodies left in that place there, ya know? You a real lion for real, ya know, star! Jah know not many men could got through the boys, ya know, star. You a real badman for real, a real badman! Niko: I do this for my cousin and for his wife. I needed to make Dimitri pay. Jacob: Nuh, man. I and I do this for Roman. Niko: Roman did not deserve to die. Not on this day, not in that place. Jacob: You feeling that, ya know, breda. I and I gwan get him.
It was even funnier because he was offering him weed to calm him down so that his anger wouldn't cloud his mind, ignoring the fact that if Niko did smoke it his mind would be clouded from being stoned instead lol
Their is no deep connection their. Jacob is a weed smoking Rasta, and Niko is an East European Communist. The only 2 things they have in common is they're both gangsters, and their mutual relationship with Roman. Niko is his cousin and Jacob is his best friend.
17:19 is the best part. This ending is so sad but in my opinion it is the best ending in any GTA game. I mean, did anyone ever think that a game all about killing people and stealing cars could make us feel this sad? Truly an amazing game and the best in the series👍
@@matthewkearns8775 true man...it gave me another perspective towards the world... the dark perspective... "You won, but lost everything you had...the cousin who was there from the start..."

I finished this game for the 7th time a couple of days ago. After every mission I always called Roman to see if there was a dialogue with him (sometimes he answers and Niko talks with him). I chosed this ending because I always made the revenge ending so I wanted to see this outcome. When I finished this mission I subconsciously tried to call Roman, but his number wasn’t there anymore. It was depressing as hell.
@@vinylbuff1515 agreed. Obviously, the revenge ending is better for Niko's happiness, and I'd choose that any day but the deal ending felt better written. The speech he gave to Dimitri was great, especially compared to Jimmy which kinda felt cliche, and adding the scripted rain in the deal ending gave it a few more points.
I've played GTA IV probably around 10 times now over the past 8 years, 2 of which I've played over the past 8 months. Only once have I ever chose the Deal ending as I genuinely welled up at Roman's death. This ending was written much better than Revenge, however now I see why Rockstar let the player have three choices in GTA V rather than merely deciding which of the main characters would die.
GTA III Ending - Feels like it was kinda a victory GTA VC Ending- Feel like payback but also betrayed GTA SA Ending - Revenge and Payback GTA LCS Ending - Feels like a dark ending GTA VCS Ending - Feel heartbroken GTA IV Ending - Feels like the American Dream isn’t a dream come true GTA TLAD Ending - Feels sad GTA TBOGT Ending - Feel satisfying GTA V Ending - Feels Alright
@Commissioner Badgeface Weirdly enough in my memory VCS' romantic interest death was more sad and heartbreaking than IV's revenge route Kate death because the VCS one had more chemistry with the Vic Vance
Gta V ending - either it will feel all right, or it will make you feel like a backstabber (if u choose to kill Michael or Trevor). But It's obvious that gta 4 has the saddest ending among all the gta games
17:33 The way Niko says "Son?" is so heartbreaking. It's just one, three-lettered word, and yet Michael Hollick still managed to deliver it so perfectly in a way that lets you hear just how shocked Niko was to find out Roman was about to be a father. 18:05 "I want Roman back." Fuck, did hearing this line hurt after I did Deal for the first time. You can hear how Niko is still in denial about Roman's death. He sounds so distant and in disbelief. What a masterpiece of a game.
and it is better that Niko has said that in a regretful tone that he has to face Dimitri the last time. Proves that the deal ending is the most disappointing ending to a video game.
“Wanna go bowling after the ceremony Niko?” “I don’t think i can Roman. I will need to do something with Dimitri to keep us safe.” Last calls: 13 years ago.
Brucie was mostly a joke character throughout the game, but there's something about his phone call at the end that's even more sad and depressing than the others. It's similar to the feeling of sadness you would get hearing a child or a mentally challenged person talk about losing someone. I usually thought Brucie was over the top and annoying, but hearing that phone call casts him in a whole new light.
@@treetop1183 yeh bro its not trying to be funny he if he said its not worth it that would be touching cuz his cousin got killed and he wanted everything but he lost a loved one thats what happens when u want power its very touching and its not worth it
The Revenger ending felt more fitting for Niko's oath, but the Deal ending would probably be fitting for the story overall. Roman has always been optimistic and the guy to forgive and forget. He just wanted to live life through the American Dream and throughout the story he was the one always trying to make Niko forget about revenge. Regardless of the player outcome when they confront Darko, I feel that storywise that is the point where Niko should drop his thirst for revenge. So with all that said, for Roman to die after everything he has been through, his view on life, and how he finally got to Niko (or helped him see) that revenge was meaningless in the very end made the ending feel all the more devastating. As for Kate it is still fucked up since she was the innocent one in her family but at the same time the relationship between them could literally be nothing if the player don't take the time to hangout with her and everything. Plus Jimmy being the final villain isn't bad but Dimitri is more preferable since he has been the main antagonist from the early act of the game until now. Hell A Revenger's Tragedy felt more satisfying than A Dish Served Cold because it finally ends with Dimitri and not some other guy who we haven't gotten that much time to know and nurture a deep hatred for. And then there were the words Niko gave to him that you don't hear if you chose to kill Dimitri early.
@@ankhmahor7211 wow that's a whole good point. Im agree, but when I play GTA4 for the first time, I remember about what Dimitri try to do with Roman before so I choose revenge instead of deal. Yeah, the multiple endings is crap. Remember about Francis and Derrick? They give us an option to choose which brothers is killed by Niko but in the GTA V that choise become trash as it is Derrick who died and they didn't mention about Francis, even worst they didn't mention what the cause Derrick died. If Rockstars didn't mention about Derrick in GTA V, I wouldn't know about how crap the 'fate' system is.

Michael Hollick did an amazing job playing Niko, he was the best person to play Niko we could’ve gotten, he even did the Motion Capture so all the movements he was doing in cutscenes was him
His serbian accent wasn't spot on but i admit that he did a great job, you can hear the sadness and emotion in his voice in cutscenes such as this one or the one where he found Darko.
As heartbreaking as it is, I think this is meant to be the canon ending if there is one. It just seems way more impactful and like an actual story. Kate, to me, honestly meant very little or nothing. Roman, on the other hand, has been there with Niko every step of the way, since the beginning, as his cousin and helping him to get settled into Liberty City. Honestly, this ending is legitimately painful for me, but I will always treat it as the true ending. It's doubly painful because not only does Roman die (on his wedding day no less), but Niko never gets the resolution or true victory he expected. "Living the dream" was always a dream, because now he has to live it without Roman, which will always be in the back of his mind. He has almost no one, and he's a shell of his former self. God, Niko and the GTA IV storyline... the epitome of tragedy.
Sort of an anticlimatic debunk of this claim, but in GTA V, Niko's Life Invader page has a message from Roman wishing him a happy birthday, so it's fair to assume Roman is alive in the events proceeding onward.
This is why i choose the other ending. The other way Dimitri dies feels more satisfying and Kate, who cares? You can get a new girl anyway. Getting a new cousin is kinda hard though..
Mysterious Stranger, she will break up with you, she will send an email, saying she won't be with you anymore. I advice you to choose the other ending, you can have another girl friend from the internet in the game, but you won't have another cousin, plus you will need roman alive cuz, you're gonna need a free transport around the city and you can do other activities with him and you will have fun with that, my friend, trust me, sir. Edit: sorry, sir, but you changed your account name, I didn't notice that your name changed because it was old, anyway, sorry, have a good day.
Mysterious Stranger, no no, brother, you will regret that you deleted it, its one of the best games, in the world, you will never find it easily on internet, I have stayed months to find it! On the contrary, yes, she will break up with you, at the end or actually after the ending, she will call and say that she won't be able to be with you anymore and no longer you can call her, and after the phone call, go save the game and immediately head to an internet cafe and you will see that she sent an email saying that she can't be with you anymore, and you won't find her number at your phone book, even if you have deleted the game, you have to make sure about that at a video right here in TH-cam, I felt angry so much and went to bed in anger, because after all of that and after paying the ultimate price (Roman's death) she didn't do the promise, oh man, you should select the other ending, even before the ending you won't get any special from her, I suggest you to choose the other ending, who cares about Kate anyway, dude.
Mysterious Stranger, that's why I suggested everybody to leave the deal ending, you can also do something else in the game, like completing activities. :-) :-) :-)

For me this game was to video games what The Sopranos was for TV. It was so much more than what you could glean from its surface, so deep, radical, honest. The game designers weren't naive, they knew that a lot of ppl were going to be playing this game to have something to distract themselves from the void, so they made a character who was dealing with the very same issues. Ill never forget driving to confront Darko and hearing Niko describe how it felt to have his innocence ripped from him when he was a young man at war... you've been walking in this man's shoes, so when he confesses this, you not only feel for him but you kind of feel AS him...
the theme at the beginning and next time played straight at the end with the sadness while showing the ship with which niko came and it all started .i can feel that emptiness in the end theme and niko's voice man. "i want Roman back" just straight broke my heart. Rockstar made it a masterpiece.
Revenge ending is arguably easier and the "better" option gameplay wise (Can still use Roman's cab, Ghost Kate will still call you for dates) But the Deal ending is far superior storywise and ultimately much more powerful. Niko loses his cousin who he's known since he was a child, instead of some girl he met a short while ago who was adamantly platonic. Niko kills the man who's made his life hell during his entire stay in America, instead of some crime boss he met 5 missions ago. It also follows Niko's reaction after the meeting with Darko, when Niko realizes revenge is meaningless. Finally, it's more deserving for Niko; he kills people for money, doesn't care who. It's fitting that he gets to know what it feels like when it happens to him.
@@gilpita Kate stays alive. She is smart and has principles. Niko wanted to get the $500.000 money working with Dimitri Rascalov. Niko spared Darko cause he regret doing revenge and killing so many people which made his life miserable. So he wanted to forget about revenge and sparing Darko, he had a sudden change of heart wanting to live a better life away from violence...but it wasn't easy to escape.
I choosed the happy ending ! Less emotionnal but I don't want to miss Roman , make his kid an orphan ,see kate dumping NB and Niko lost with no family left . This is the only game that after I finished got a new vision about life , this really needs a sequel
"There is no real ending. It's just the place where you stop the story." - Frank Herbet Killing either Dimitri or Pegarino can't bring Kate or Roman back. The only thing I can say is that you didn't win or lose, but Niko still lost in spite of killing the two dastards and ending the nightmare.
In the final cutscene, the Statue of Happiness has its back turned to the player, hinting that Niko never found happiness. In both endings, the statue's back will be turned, symbolizing Niko's hopelessness.
I consider the revenge ending canon because for me, why would Niko do a deal with the very man who nearly ruined Niko's life and have been trying to hunt him down ever since.
Aswin Anil Revenge ending isn't canon it's' the players choice if the player chooses the deal ending then the cab company probably was created by romans wife and niko to honor him and the life invader account also could of been created by niko and mallorie to honor him I know a lot of people want the revenge ending to be canon for roman could appear in another gta game but it's most likely will not happen because niko's voice actor left rockstar

Jesus Christ man. The ending gives me chills. The sadness and the reactions to Roman's death is just great storytelling along with the piano. Just amazing.

@@riceballsempai07 I meant to imply that Lester might have said that because Dimitri turned out to be right in the end. I know that's not what happened but I just thought it's a cool correlation
I hate to admit it, but the Deal Ending is the better ending of the game. As upset as I was by Roman's death, it makes more sense in the atmosphere and mood of Liberty City that the story had created than Kate's, and it makes more sense and is more satisfying to go after Dimitri, the game's -primary- antagonist, in the final mission. Gameplay-wise, however, I fucking hate this mission.
I mean it does make sense, because in the very beginning Roman needed help killing someone and that's how it all continued that's why Niko kept saying " I should've never read you emails and stayed away. " cause of all that was happening but I still wish I got the revenge ending.

Possibly the biggest kick in the face the game could have pulled off.

Jacob: Yeah, man. Yeah, man. How' the ginnal get away from you anyway, Niko? You think you get that boy for sure?

Wow... you sure put a a lot of time to analyze the whole thing!
If Rockstars didn't mention about Derrick in GTA V, I wouldn't know about how crap the 'fate' system is.
revenger ending makes nb looks bad. I mean we don't have reason to kill peg, since you are the first one who dissapoint him by killing dimitri
@@shironee_2384 I think it was better they didn't mention how Derrick died to avoid confirming if Niko shot him or Francis.

Deal ending is really like Niko finally succumbed to greed and costs him

And this ending makes more sense than the other one
@@ididntmeantoshootthatvietn5012 More dramatic, sure, make more sense? I don't think it does, Niko has very little reason to work with a snake like dimitri and all the motivation in the world to shoot him in the face.
this ending would’ve made way more sense if it weren’t for the fact you make a deal with dmitiri knowing what he’s done, i get roman is the one who was telling niko throughout the entire story that revenge means nothing and that ultimately got roman killed but making a deal with dmitri feels just as wrong
@@ChrisTX60 Logically speaking it doesn’t make sense for Niko. I think what I had meant here is just the overall tone of the mission, a true “no escape” type situation

Kate and niko would never work cause niko has like 50 girlfriends

I guess both endings of GTA 4 taught us a lot about life. This doesn't only go for GTA, it goes for real life too.
yup, theres no such thing as a happy ending
+Niko Bellic you know the unhappy ending makes its story very better ... because everyone's life dont finish happily 😧
What were the lessons
Jonuel Colon You should definitely listen to what your teacher tells you.

15:29 god the voice actor for Niko is great
Michael Hollick did an amazing job playing Niko, he was the best person to play Niko we could’ve gotten, he even did the Motion Capture so all the movements he was doing in cutscenes was him
His serbian accent wasn't spot on but i admit that he did a great job, you can hear the sadness and emotion in his voice in cutscenes such as this one or the one where he found Darko.
Nah, they should have hired a Serbian actor
Hollick should've been paid way more than $100K
A modern, truly fucked-up version of a Shakespearean tragedy story
Sort of an anticlimatic debunk of this claim, but in GTA V, Niko's Life Invader page has a message from Roman wishing him a happy birthday, so it's fair to assume Roman is alive in the events proceeding onward.
@@midnalazuli793 honestly it's up to the player to interpret things
Revenge is canon. Roman’s got a Life Invader account in GTA V so he’s alive hence revenge ending is canon for Rockstar
then choose the revenge ending then idiot
This is why i choose the other ending. The other way Dimitri dies feels more satisfying and Kate, who cares? You can get a new girl anyway. Getting a new cousin is kinda hard though..
SuperDuper Nick so if Roman dies I can still date Kate or is killing Kate the better ending
Mysterious Stranger, I also wander too, why she said at the end she will talk with you?

Revenge ending is arguably easier and the "better" option gameplay wise (Can still use Roman's cab, Ghost Kate will still call you for dates)
But the Deal ending is far superior storywise and ultimately much more powerful. It's fitting that he gets to know what it feels like when it happens to him.
stars111535 very well said.
exactly i wasnt upset at all after Kate got killed
and that's why i chose Revenge ending, i really dont give a fuck about Kate
Anouar Najah There's no happy endings in this game. In both endings Niko feels sad and miserable.

"There is no real ending. It's just the place where you stop the story." - Frank Herbet
Killing either Dimitri or Pegarino can't bring Kate or Roman back. The only thing I can say is that you didn't win or lose, but Niko still lost in spite of killing the two dastards and ending the nightmare.
Yeah,You can finally mod the game in peace
One word Yes
Cryptic
It's just like The Dark Knight's end, Batman wins, but it's a sour victory.

" Roman ... never hurt anyone "
One of the saddest lines ever said by a GTA character 😢
I hate to admit it, but the Deal Ending is the better ending of the game. As upset as I was by Roman's death, it makes more sense in the atmosphere and mood of Liberty City that the story had created than Kate's, and it makes more sense and is more satisfying to go after Dimitri, the game's -primary- antagonist, in the final mission. Gameplay-wise, however, I fucking hate this mission.
BiOriX_ New York City is a very tough city
I mean it does make sense, because in the very beginning Roman needed help killing someone and that's how it all continued that's why Niko kept saying " I should've never read you emails and stayed away. " cause of all that was happening but I still wish I got the revenge ending.
But it doesn't fit with Niko's character
