Since they nerfed the vangaurd he says. Ironically the Vangaurd is the stronger fighter. Better handling. More durable. Just as much dps. Much faster in atmo. Yeah that makes so much sense.
@Kurashinno standard guardian? There's no reason to get it. Same weapons. Same amenities. 3 m/s slower. BUT it has a Quantum jammer. You wont even notice the speed difference. I've used both. And power? If you power down the jammer you have just as much power to use.

It has allot of furry advantages while not being completely dependent on the main thrusters to move which allows it to take a few more hits without becoming unflyable. You're right - I think the designation of "heavy" comes from the weapon payload. I only know this because I did a bit of digging when I did the buccaneer review 2 weeks(?) ago. I had always thought it was size/mass. But I was wrong.

I recently melted my Vanguard Warden and the BUKs that I have been holding onto since the concept sale. It broke my heart, but it simply never performed its stated role, and I have come to abandon combat in SL as a chosen profession. This ship makes me consider if I shouldn't take another look, though. The only thing that really makes me hesitate is the spectre of them changing the ship after the sale to remove its strengths.
Ok so honestly.. I predict less of that will happen. The scope and scale of this game is a lot further along these days. The old ships suffer because of this, but new ships don't feel OP.
How does the guardian compare to the warden?? The warden feels a lot more like a heavy fighter than this... this ship looks amazing and I'm on the fence between the two.
@@ForgeCoreGaming It's hard not to feel they will cut back on the Guardian. Compared to the Warden, it has twice the firepower, better handling while maintaining the same speed, apparently more armor (if HPs are a reflection of armor and durability), and the same living support systems for long duration missions. The only things the Vanguard might have are the use of a ramp instead of a lift (value indeterminate since the Vanguard carries no cargo or vehicles), may have greater quantum range (currently indeterminate with no indication the devs intend to make it the huge increase over other fighters it was supposed to feature), and the module system (indeterminate value as the torpedoes of the Harbinger are low damage weapons easily shot down, and the Guardian can get a similar option to the Sentinel while maintaining livability). Right now, it is seeming the Vanguard simply can't compete with the Guardian, and I feel that will motivate reductions after the sale ends rather than improvements to the Vanguard series.
I have a one ship rule so I don't over spend and upgraded my Starlancer Max to the Guardian QI and I love it brings me back to my early 325a days and is more practical than the Max IMO for a daily driver
I picked up the QI as well and I haven’t regretted it for a second. Great video, bud. The only grip I have is the suit locker in the bathroom should be switched.
I'll play devil's advocate here. You don't wanna drag space contaminants across your habitation area. You never know what kind of exotic bacteria you'll pick up out there!
A long range fighter, so it falls between the Banu Defender and the Vanguard. Smaller than both and harder hitting, but lacking the ramp that makes box delivery easy. For the big guns I felt let down by the Crusader Ares/Ion during IAE, but they are anti-large, where this is anti-medium and the maneuverability is in the Guardian to make it playable against fighters. I'm not much for QD gameplay so I'm leaning towards the standard variant. I prefer the red paint out of the options but the Qi standard paint is cool as well.
I think the QI could hang against large ships as well - but aren't the Ares ships supposed to do work on Capital ships? I might have misunderstood that when i was first introduced to them
i really like that its up to date, but that even more hypes me for an update to the vanguards. They have double the shields, turret, more armor, "should" be long range sometime and especially the ramp so you can "drive in" a pule or a 2 scu crate
Four doors could be a hassle, but you can exit out the front like a fury! Just look down and right click on the "exit to rear" button and it'll bring up a selection wheel. This is also why there's additional gun racks and inventory on the wing tips, you can pop out the front, grab a gun and get right into action. Also there are brave redditors that managed to fit 2 Guardians into the Polaris, you won't be able to scramble fighters in a timely fashion in an emergency, but it's doable :P
Ok - thank you for telling me. I knew how to get IN from the front, but I thought I was going crazy with not being able to find the way out. That's very helpful. And I'm going to go check the reddit right now for these Double Guardian Double Stuffers.
The guardian is such a delight. Its stock loadout resembles what I used to fit on my redeemer. It's a flyable solo og redeemer turret. 2x S5 laser cannons pack such a punch. It's so satisfying to not spray but to aim and snipe ships. Unstaggered, most small fighters take 1 shot to take out the shields and then 1 or 2 more shots to blow up. S5 cannons are medium to large ship killers too. Corsairs and Hammerheads will hate guardians with S5 laser cannons
I didn't even think of it that way! lol that's a cool perspective.. you're just a flying redeemer turret. And yeah, this ship is gonna be a menace to a lot of the larger ships in the game. I love it
Nice review, feel the same about this ship. I love the hab, the weapons racks in the arms, the storage options, the colours the overall vibe of this ship.
I got the non Qi version and thus far my other ships are honestly getting ignored at the moment. As you stated, the design is top tier tie interceptor vibes, it's very maneuverable for a heavy fighter (so much so that I almost black out often lol) and it has a livable interior as well! I agree that the shields are lacking, but it more than makes up for it with the DOUBLE hull hp of the vanguard series. My current daily driver for sure.
@@ForgeCoreGaming i don't know because in erkul it shows no price and doesnt say where i can buy it. so i guess it is not for purchase at the moment. however fandom says it cost 36.7k and can be bought on grim hex, omega pro NB orPLatinum BAy CRU L5. i will chek today if it is available. if not there is alsao the TRENTA that alkso gives 6.1k shield and is available for purchase on grim hex for 56k
I am really bad at space combat and never really played any Bounty missions .. more of a hauler and miner myself. But with the whipe I wanted to diversify my gameplay and the Mirai just hit the spot. I love MISC ships so I love how she looks and fighting us so much fun with her ^^
@@ForgeCoreGaming haven't decided on any color so far, but the QI black looks already near ... but I probably go for the red one, getting the cockpit glas in red looks nice ^^
Despite having lower shields, the maneuverability makes up for it. However, I would say they each have different intent with the Vanguards focusing on "Endurance" and the Guardians on "Agility". It is less forgiving on mistakes than the Vanguards.
You're right about that - I've lost a couple fights already. Went into a MRT & had to leave immediately - the 4 NPC ships that showed up were on me from all angles & melted my shields inside of 4 seconds. My hull was red before 10 seconds. I had to limp my way back to a station.
Update - I purchased Galdereens in the PU (expensive as heck). Tried them out on a couple of bounties.. things got WAAAYYY easier. Plus they're so satisfying to use.
Good for you man. It’s always great when you find a ship that you just get and it fits your style. I think as you highlighted, it’s one of the only heavy fighters you can ‘live in’ and that’s a real bonus. Unfortunately, just like the X Wing style Scorpius before it, I really wanted to love the Guardian but something about both of these Star Wars inspired ships just leaves me a bit Meh. All the points you make are valid and good. For me, I think I am disappointed it doesn’t stick to the style of the Fury with maybe 4 x S4’s. That’s such an aggressive and unique look that made you feel powerful and I was expecting that configuration as I love that about the Fury. Having 2 x S5’s slapped in the middle of the 4 big arms feels like a cop out and not in keeping the original design. I also think a solo player will get chewed up in Pyro if they wander around in this too long. Solid HP pool but that 1 xS2 shield is a bust.
So.. I agree all around here with your critiques of the ship. The 4s4's would have been nasty tbh. I think it would have been too strong though, and they'd have to remove some hull hp. Which.. I guess would be fine. The biggest reason I think they WON'T do it is because they'd have to go back and rework the hard points & power management on it.
I think the guardian will be a perfect fit for my playstyle, I was really looking for a suitable ship to do PvE missions and also something that can use to defend myself in case someone comes after me to do some PvP, while also having an interior and a bed so I can avoid spaceports and stations for extended periods of time. It's only a little bit too expensive for what it offers tbh.
I'll still hold on the Paladin and use the Guardian as the goal to grind. But I am really tempted to just melt it and have fun with this perfect solo ship
@ForgeCoreGaming Good luck, its not to bad. Wish they would give ships like the guardian a small cargo like for example on the 325a or on the intrepid. That would be so nice to have a dedicated small space for 1-4 scu. Also it would have been amazing from Miria to include a pulse to the ship and add a something that holds the pulse. How amazing that would be to to land and get out of the ship having a small vehicle and a little space for a few small containers. Definitely could have been done instead of giving such a small ship 4 rooms and 4 doors before finally getting into the cockpit.
Always wait to review and make a final purchase a good week or so after it is not for sale. Get a CCU to one. The nurfs will be coming, they always do.
Yes I just watch Fried Chicken load the SCU on the rear elevator which easily fit and you just enter from the front then and lower it and move it to the bunker entrance then put it back on the ship and raise it up so simple and CIG got this one right. Polaris repairs will run in the millions based on how much damage and ammo restock as well as the fuel will kill you out of the gate. So far I am impressed they covered all the important bases with this ship and I love the look and layout, I do think the QI is the better choice for a cash purchase though you get more for your money. I also wish they gave it 2 size 2 shields or 1 size 3 shield but remember that this is alpha and if we let them know it's to weak here it can be changed like they just did with the Intrepid. But all in all this one looks like a in between winner it's got it's own spot to achieve long term goals unlike devoted fighters. I am considering letting a few of my devoted fighters go due to the fact they are not long distance now and more like glass canons, lots of weapons doesn't guaranty you win the fight you have to survive , so more of the smaller fighters have become less appealing to me even though I love the look and feel and speed ,they just cant take on anything big at all size one shields are not a lot of protection and they have little to no real armor on most of the ships that's why they are so fast and agile. This ship gives you a decent shot but doesn't give you a insane advantage it's a good balance of game mechanics without stacking the deck in your favor. Great video BTW keep it up.thank you.
That's how I feel about it. It's good - but it's not SO good that it's the right fit for everyone. It isn't BiS in many aspects. So I don' t think the nerf hammer is coming down on this one any time soon. If anything, maybe a buff.. maybe not
I loved the fury, so I’m really happy they made a similar ship that wasn’t a snub fighter. Also bummed about the redeemer rebalance, but oh well, never used it to much anyways.
If the opportunity calls for it, sure. I'm certain Pyro will bring out the pirate in a lot of people.. my crew and I plan on hunting some of em. Just for fun... not for principle.
@ForgeCoreGaming referring to i have a QI UPGRADE from the Guardian wondering if i should apply it as i preferably use the standard but will go to QI if there is merit otherwise I'll keep the white skin. Look me up in game same name
@@UBIQUITAR ohhhhh... my bad. I would say 95% of the time, I won't even consider using the dampener.. and the base model has slightly better handling performance. So if you have no intention of using it, stick with the base. As it stands, I have mine turned off almost always - as it requires 3 energy pips to keep on.
@@ForgeCoreGaming Are you able to turn off the QI module and reuse those points? I didnt see anyone click on it to disable so far. If thats possible, its basically a base Guardian with a extremely negiglible difference on manuevability. I think it would be worth the upgrade even without thinking about use the QI module, unless you want the base painting that is
CCU'ed my Ion for this, like you said in your Vanguard review, the complete interior of the Guardian makes it very appealing Also, the Tie Interceptor vibes of the QI are just too freaking good to pass up. If they did restore the Ion to its launch glory, I would consider getting one of those again, but even then, no bed, makes me sad.
They truly hit a new standard with this ship when it comes to space optimization! I as well am a solo pilot most of the time, so the guardian is really attractive. If you want to meet up in the verse, I would love to see you make a review video of my Mustang Omega AMD edition, really a rare ship and almost no vids on it.
Ship is amazing and my buddy love his! I’m waiting for the Anvil Paladin myself. The Starlancer is to big and slow so I’m going back to a Constellation.
It scratches my itch. It’s designed for solo play. Its looks are sci-fi movie cool. It’s got a bed and a kitchen. Weapons are decent enough for most NPC ships not to be a problem. The extra storage for bunker runs was a huge selling point for me as well. I got the base version- because of power management issues and because I don’t see me using the dampener. To me this isn’t a ship I would want to actively PvP in and the dampener is worthless on NPCs. Besides I can always upgrade if the need arises. So as much as the haters want to say this ship is garbage, it’s found a solid home with me.
Are people hating on this ship? I always hold this belief: If people like it, let em like it.. there are good things about every ship in this game. And every person playing it has a slightly different reason and taste.
Great review, and great content in general. The Guardian is a great looking ship, and it seems it is packed full of features. In regards to the F7C, i have been wanting one since it was a flyable fighter in the tutorial waay back, but with the reviews and comments i read, i am hesitant to get one currently 🤔
I think this is my new default ship. My favorite ship to fly is still the Arrow, and I haven't cared much for other heavy fighters, but this is pretty maneuverable _for a heavy fighter_ and quite versatile. Even though the speed difference over the QI is negligible (for now at least), I went with the base model.
The Guardian is a good looking ship, I like the way the wings move when raising the landing gear and the quantum dampener animation is pretty sleek as well.
Great Video once again. I always thought I wouldn´t buy the guardian... but it happened that i have a CCU Chain that fitted the QI for just a 5$ upgrade and i fucking love it
I was so torn between a Harb and the Guardian Qi. Harb has more DPS, Shield and a turret for the off-chance you get a gunner. Qi seems fun for pack tactics piracy. I have CCUs for both, gonna decide which one to use after the Guardian got its inevitable nerf pass. Probably gonna apply the CCU I want during Invictus next year, when it's easier to plan a chain.
I also wanna add they will either need to nerf the QI a bit or buff the base a bit, because the differences seem miniscule with the QED being a definitive pro. So we might see a slight buff soon.
I would hope that since you need 3 power to use the QI it becomes a skill issue with regards to power management. I don't know for sure but that would be my thought process as to why they are close. Time will tell I guess. QI paint job is why I am likely choosing it over the base.
@@besgarknightshade3241 You're right - it's (energetically) expensive to use. I was messing around the other day because another player happened upon me while I was doing a bounty.. I chased him around a bit - with zero intention of actually killing him. But I put my dampener on just for fun.. bam crime stat.. didn't even consider that would happen.
I probably just wait for something similar with interior from another manufacturer. If you haven't tried already set a keybind for pip toggle, attacking large ships with lagg pip feels way better to pick it apart
Personally for me, the vanguard warden is still going to be my primary fighter due to the tankyness, and turret, although ill definitely buy the guardian in game! Edit: I also feel like the redeemer is taking steps in the right direction, as I think you could almost classify it as a "superheavy" fighter, which I'm not to upset about despite having pledged pre change and loving the s3 shields and massive turrets
@@aronmangaming No problemo - btw, you MIGHT have to adjust your field of view in your game graphics settings if the radial menu is getting cut off on the bottom of the screen.
i did not had the chance to try it yet ,but from all the review videos i like it more and more ,i also look more at the ships that can give me more longevity and versatility
I think the guardian will be a great support ship for pirates or other groups. I wouldn't recommend using it in the future as a solo player. At least not if you're into PvP. Future balancing aside, one of the biggest weaknesses of the guardian will be its main ball thrusters. They will probably be shot out easily when hit by ballistics. But when you are avoiding heavy PvP the guardian might be a good ship.
Same, I love multi-role ships with a focus on exploration and combat. Unfortunately none of them feel right to me at this point. The 600i is still the best IMO but with the caveat of being too big with lots of wasted space and too slow for my liking. It is tanky, hits hard, has enough room for a nursa which I like for versatility and rescue missions, has plenty of cargo room, feels comfortable as a home and has the most amazing cockpit view. Connies will probably become my favorite in the future but for now I really hate the cockpit experience. I have been using the Zeus for a while which I might enjoy flying the most but the low hull HP mean while the ship is pretty tanky for its size, ballistics and missiles absolutely SHRED you, and the lack of room for a nursa or at least another enclosed ground exploration vehicle really hurts my experience.
All good points.. I've found that the Starlancer Max strikes a good balance of what I want. But sometimes I just want something fast. Queue the Guardian
@@ForgeCoreGaming Fast in what sense? It's not particularly fast either, is it? Starlancer and 600i are unfortunately slow though and I have 2 gripes with the Starlancer. 1. the cockpit vision is bad and 2. it is maneuverable for a ship this size, which is normally a good thing, but it is also squishy for a ship its size. That combo makes it feel like a balloon to me.
@j.d.4697 Though the Guardian isn't PARTICULARLY fast - it's acceleration capabilities is far beyond what I usually drive. My dailies have historically been multicrew ships: Corsair, Redeemer, Starlancer. So this one feels very fast.
i'm actually interested in getting this, as it has a walkable interior.. for me it's all about the immersion and having a place i could call home. while i don't normally fly combat ships, i definitely know i will want one combat ship i am used to flying. And currently it's looking like i might be chosing the guardian. But first i need to find someone to spawn it for me.
Thats the first review of the guardian Iv'e seen were the attritions aren't the top spot recomandation, finaly someone that actuacly flown that thing for more than just 5 minutes.
Lol i tried the attritions.. they don't make sense on this ship. That's baked into what I said about not "pumping out" videos for the sake of views. Thanks for watching!
13:19 I was saying the same thing while walking the interior for the first time. It feels just like the long hallway of the Cruaader Hercules upper level.
@ForgeCoreGaming yeup. 12 hours filming might make a 1 hr video after days of editing. And yours turn out good. Mine are... Lol well I just have some drinks skip steps on a case of not sure how or who cares. But it gives a natural raw SC experience. Wish I had your talent
@@DrunkenCitizen Oh I have almost zero talent for this. It's beating my head against a wall until something looks good. I would say this: download capcut and try to make 60 second shorts for TH-cam. It puts a creative constraint on you. You'll start finding ways to tell a short story without worrying about making a long video. Then - extrapolate what you learn to the longer ones.
@ haha start horizontal to get it under then turn it vertically . It’s like moving a sofa through a doorway. You’ll need to enter and exit from the cockpit . It fit without any scraping or wiggling. This ship was an instant buy for me. I’m a little worried the QI will be nerfed.
You can't compare a Connie to this. If we're talking solo vs solo, this wildly outperforms the constellations in a fight. But they're 2 ships with vastly different purposes.
Honestly, I don't think I'm a good enough pilot to notice the difference lol. I needed a QD type ship though. I plan on doing a fair bit of pvp when servers get stable
@@liamseven1604 I was not. Would I like more? Sure - but heavy fighters run across a spectrum. The lowest solo DPS being the Scorpius (I think - don't quote me on that). But there have to be tradeoffs on every ship - otherwise there becomes a "best in slot" - and everyone just uses the "best in slot". Which would be boring. So diversity in ship type, role, and loadout is a good thing. Also, the F8C - per lore is supposed to be the big kid on the fighter playground. It's the top dog. And the price reflects that as well. So everything else (if cheaper) needs to have drawbacks to reflect that.
Cool video, but seems kinda odd you managed to spend 13 hours with this ship without ever taking the time to check if a 1scu box does fit in its elevator if you were going to mention it. Also would've been nice to say something about QI vs standard variants. The QI has more stuff doesn't it? What does it do? The base is more agile, is it a big difference?
I really hope they rework the MFD thing - its horrible... just in this video, it was blocking your view every time you're in combat and trying to keep eyes on target. All they need to do is cut it in half, and rotate each side diagonally just a bit, put them in line with the "wings". Know what I mean? It would look so much better, and visibility would be amazing.
Yeah... it doesn't really make sense to me. I think it has to do with the purpose behind it. The M7A's have the highest alpha damage out of the laser weapons, I believe. Which is better for large ships. Don't quote me on that
@@ForgeCoreGaming Ah ok I didnt even know that. Even more funny is how they do the extremes either full Bubble cockpits like the Mirai Ships or the Prospector or Letterbox Cockpits on the Starfarer, Freelancer, Starlancer.

I have a one ship rule so I don't over spend and upgraded my Starlancer Max to the Guardian QI and I love it brings me back to my early 325a days and is more practical than the Max IMO for a daily driver
SC has some great youtubers that post quality shit. You sir did great with this vid. Thx for entertaining me.Subscribed!!!
Thanks! I'm doing the best I can at 10 hours per video
This was a really good review. Subbed for more. Cheers bro. 🍻
Thanks for watching!
That makes zero sense. That’d be like having a bike rack next to your bedroom and your bathroom in the garage.
I might have misunderstood that when i was first introduced to them
@@ForgeCoreGaming They are are part of anti-capital, just won't be taking a capital ship on their own but should handle a large with a good pilot imho
i really like that its up to date, but that even more hypes me for an update to the vanguards.
Welcome to club Guardian

@@Brynjarson_CH good advice! Appreciate it!

Awesome ship! Nothing more to say :) Really enjoying this review. Thanks for the content
It's only possible because people like you take the time to watch.
I am really bad at space combat and never really played any Bounty missions .. more of a hauler and miner myself.
But with the whipe I wanted to diversify my gameplay and the Mirai just hit the spot.
I love MISC ships so I love how she looks and fighting us so much fun with her ^^
Did you get any paints for it
@@ForgeCoreGaming haven't decided on any color so far, but the QI black looks already near ... but I probably go for the red one, getting the cockpit glas in red looks nice ^^
Did you change the weapon set? for which ones?
In the PU? No. S5 guns are expensive, and I'm just stocking up on gear for now. I'm undecided if I'll go with galdereens or attrition at this point.
FYI there are gun racks and internal storage on the bottom wings outside of the ship, just in front of the missile pods. Seems you missed those.
Nope - I mentioned those in the video, I just forgot to record the video of it. But.. I appreciate it! It'd be really easy to miss those
I think the guardian will be a perfect fit for my playstyle, I was really looking for a suitable ship to do PvE missions and also something that can use to defend myself in case someone comes after me to do some PvP, while also having an interior and a bed so I can avoid spaceports and stations for extended periods of time. It's only a little bit too expensive for what it offers tbh.
Exactly my thoughts. Its a lot of fun to use when you're playing solo.
Been waiting for ages to have a solo fighter like that. its really an amazing gift from cig for christmas :)
Right? It checks all my boxes
I'll still hold on the Paladin and use the Guardian as the goal to grind.
But I am really tempted to just melt it and have fun with this perfect solo ship
Ooh... tough choice tbh... paladin is probably 18 months out
Hopefully, cingoy will let the stock skins become available...would like to use base skin on the qt version
You can fit a up to a 2 scu container in the back, but you have to use the front entry then to get into the ship. Same applies to a Mirai Pulse
Yeah, I found that out from some other folks. I'm considering trying it.
I pray you're wrong this time
Yes I just watch Fried Chicken load the SCU on the rear elevator which easily fit and you just enter from the front then and lower it and move it to the bunker entrance then put it back on the ship and raise it up so simple and CIG got this one right.
I used the redeemer every day >.
Wondering if you think the quantum dampner is a mandatory or a feature if you will use it.
I think you made a good choice
They truly hit a new standard with this ship when it comes to space optimization! I as well am a solo pilot most of the time, so the guardian is really attractive. If you want to meet up in the verse, I would love to see you make a review video of my Mustang Omega AMD edition, really a rare ship and almost no vids on it.
I'd love to. Add me: Fenyks-VII
@ForgeCoreGaming will do!
Ship is amazing and my buddy love his!
I’m waiting for the Anvil Paladin myself. The Starlancer is to big and slow so I’m going back to a Constellation.
I love my slow whale (starlancer)
I had absolutely no idea this ship had an interior!!! That's absolutely incredible, I severely underestimated this ship.
That's like half the hype of this thing
Inner storage is available inside the ship as well. It's under your bunk.
I swear I checked there.. skill issue 100% lol thanks for the heads up!
Nice review, thank you.
Great review, and great content in general.
The Guardian is a great looking ship, and it seems it is packed full of features.

Edit: Nice background music! What is it?
I have the music credits listed in the description. It's from Chosic.com - royalty free, so long as you provide credit.
I picked up a CCU for one, not sure if it will replace my Warden.
Its a tough choice
I think this is my new default ship. My favorite ship to fly is still the Arrow, and I haven't cared much for other heavy fighters, but this is pretty maneuverable _for a heavy fighter_ and quite versatile. Even though the speed difference over the QI is negligible (for now at least), I went with the base model.
That's fair. I wrestled with which one to buy for a solid 30 minutes the night it came out
The Guardian is a good looking ship, I like the way the wings move when raising the landing gear and the quantum dampener animation is pretty sleek as well.
Great Video once again. I always thought I wouldn´t buy the guardian... but it happened that i have a CCU Chain that fitted the QI for just a 5$ upgrade and i fucking love it
Lol welcome to the club!
Bought it. Tried it. Loved it. I guess the Guardian was the last link in that chain.
You have an outstanding amount of patience
I also wanna add they will either need to nerf the QI a bit or buff the base a bit, because the differences seem miniscule with the QED being a definitive pro.
So we might see a slight buff soon.
I'm gonna be sad if they nerf my QI
I would hope that since you need 3 power to use the QI it becomes a skill issue with regards to power management. I don't know for sure but that would be my thought process as to why they are close. Time will tell I guess. QI paint job is why I am likely choosing it over the base.
@@besgarknightshade3241 You're right - it's (energetically) expensive to use. I was messing around the other day because another player happened upon me while I was doing a bounty.. I chased him around a bit - with zero intention of actually killing him. But I put my dampener on just for fun.. bam crime stat.. didn't even consider that would happen.
Looks good. One door too many (aft). If it had two s2 shields and wasn’t so power gimped, I’d consider keeping it.
The Connie Andromeda is stilll my daily driver with this next on my list.
I probably just wait for something similar with interior from another manufacturer.

Nothin wrong with that. The Vanguards are good ships. Maybe we could form a heavy fighter squad some time & go to Pyro
How does the guardian compare to the warden? That would be a good video comparison. I'm on the fence between both.
The base version has better maneuvering stats all around by a bit, I guess due to the mass of the QED. They are both great though.
I might have snagged a ccu from my f7c to the base guardian.. I'm not sure if I'll use it though

Peeps that have tried it, How does the handling feel in comparison to the san'tok?
I'll ask in my circle of anyone has tried it
I am totally in agreement its an awesome daily combat based ship
It really is
Same, I love multi-role ships with a focus on exploration and combat.
Yeah, wish they would do more modularity, so we can tweak our ships towards our gameplay. None of the ships really blow me away.
@@ForgeCoreGaming
Fast in what sense?
Light strikes, my man. More range means more time to fire on a pursuing vessel.
I find the design leaning more perhaps to the design of the fighters of the first colony wars game

Alongside the F8C and Vanguard Harbinger I think the guardian rounds out my fleet in terms of heavy fighters
You have all 3? O.O
Only two size 5s?
Yep
its a heavy fighter were you expecting more?
Tie-Interceptooooor 4tfw, must buy a non qi, replaced a Vanguard
Cool video, but seems kinda odd you managed to spend 13 hours with this ship without ever taking the time to check if a 1scu box does fit in its elevator if you were going to mention it.
