I’m looking forward to making this, it looks delicious. I’m always so happy to see you use a spatula to scrape everything out of your bowls. On so many cooking videos I watch, they will use a spoon and leave so much stuff left in the bowl. Drives me crazy.
Dee and Paula, when I was a little girl I lived in Stone Mountain GA. I lived there until 1979 until my daddy passed away. Then we moved away. Stone Mountain has changed a lot over the years. My husband is even from Stone Mountain too. Thank you for sharing this recipe. It sounds and looks delicious.
The coffee cake looks so good! I need to try it asap. I was at the grocery store yesterday and the price of eggs has gone through the roof!! $5.99 for just one dozen large, brown eggs!!! I live in Massachusetts so I'm not sure how much they cost in your neck of the woods. Sooo happy we have a chicken coop! We have the best tasting and largest eggs around. We sell them so people tell us that all the time... Good to know!
These are delicious. However, I am eating as a bar cookie (brownie). No sugar on top and didn't have raisins but they are so moist. Thank you for sharing.
Wow!! Never seen a better looking coffee (or as I like to call it "crack cake" LOL) in my life !!!! Definitely going to try this tonight even though its 8 pm already, LOL! Also, I think you should name one of your chickens Snoop Dog! He is the best rapper of all time and if you know me , you know I love a good hit of that Za Za! Take care Paula, you've never looked better.
I made this but put it in a cast iron pan. I cooked it for 33 minutes but I think I could cook it more it seem pretty gooey in the middle but tasted so good. I put no extra sugar on top
i could certainly tell you were cracking eggs that are not commercially raised. Know why? Because the shells are more substantial! Yea for homegrown!!! Yea for you in every way, Paula!
Paula, I haven’t seen you in a while. You look wonderful! Have you lost some weight? I also love your sparkling very white teeth. Can we please have a tour of your chicken coop?
LOL on Mike for the names of the chickens. I want to get me a little pop belly pig, I have been looking one, I told my husband Charlie we are going to name him Bacon. Oh charlie said you could call two of them Ring and Neck, as you see we have Mike's sense of humor LOL
Would you are one chicken Cleopatra and one Mark Anthony's? I want to make this asap!!! By the way, love you haircut. Makes you look younger n prettier.
Eddie when you mentioned the black chicken I immediately thought of Elizabeth Taylor a second before you mentioned it! I watched your video prior to this one on your grandmother's Langley chocolate cake. I love when you cook and the cake and icing looked divine. Thank you for being you.
Where's the baking powders? There's no baking powder or baking soda listed. I'm going to try this recipe but I'll add 1 teaspoon of baking powder. I'll let you know how it goes.
It's technically a dry ingredient, but most always mixed with wet, so it distributes evenly and cuts down on mixing time, creating more airy end result, so, considered part of wet ingredients. It turns into a liquid state when heated, so scientifically, considered wet. Lol, depends on who you talk to!
@@stacey5925 no ma'am sugar is technically/scientifically wet. To say "technically" means scientifically btw. Add a drop of water to a 1/8 cup of powdered sugar (the "driest of sugars") and see what happens, then do the same with flour. Sugar in its crystalize form has been processed to be that way...Beet sugar and cane sugar are BOTH liquids and wet and must be extracted and crystalized.
Wowy! Coffee sure makes me feel hyped up! Glad there's not too much coffee in this recipe. I noticed that you're lookin a little frail, Paula. Are you a fellow sufferer of osteroperosis? A lot of women suffer from this disorder, you should look into it! -Sincerely, another OP warrior
I am so glad more women are bringing this to the public eye. I also suffer from osteoporosis after I hit menopause and Its been a rough road. Its such a debilitating condition that more men should be aware of. Paula is my hero and I feel like we share a connection deeper than the Mariana Trench LOL!!! Emma, we should be friends... do you live in the San Fransisco area?
@@kenyonrose508 Yes I do! I live near San Jose and would love to meet up with you for coffee (or maybe DeeDee's Cinnamon Coffee Cake 🤣🤣). Blessings to you and your family!
Would you have added the nuts, the raisins, or both?
Just the Nuts! It looks delicious i definitely need to give it a try
Both!
Please give us a tour of the new chicken coop. Would love to meet the chickens. Can't wait to try this recipe. Love your videos.
Ditto!

This is exactly what I've been looking for...a cinnamon roll taste with no yeast and waiting lol!!

That looks delicious Paula
Looks good. No salt or baking soda? Or did I miss that?
Paula, you once famously said, "when in doubt add more butter!" I think this recipe should be, "when in doubt add more sugar!!!"
We went to your restaurant - the food was amazing.
I love your haircut. It looks smart.
Oh I would love to see the chickens also 👍🙏❤️😎🐔🐓
This sounds amazing!!!
I want to see your 🐓 🐔
Gonna try, lol😍
Looks delicious. Can't wait to see the chickens
That's so cool that you named your chicken. My grandma had chickens named Tina Turner and Madonna.
LOL on Mike for the names of the chickens. I want to get me a little pop belly pig, I have been looking one, I told my husband Charlie we are going to name him Bacon. Oh charlie said you could call two of them Ring and Neck, as you see we have Mike's sense of humor LOL
omg...we are making this today!!!
Bridget Bardot would be a cute name, too. Yes, must see the chicken coop.
It might be good with confectionery like cinnamon rolls have on them.

Paula Why did you not take the cake out of the baking pan and place on a platter then sprinkle with Granulated Sugar? Are you alright🙏🏻💖
I like your new glasses better than the Harry Cary glasses. 😊
Thanks!
Fun fact sugar is a wet ingredient...
This DeeDee's Cinnamon Coffee Cake recipe looks so delicious 😋 Paula.
Your hair looks cute!
How do I send you a recipe
Yummy.
No baking powder ?
💯✔😋😋😋😉😍
Name a chicken Dee Dee.
Where's the baking powders? There's no baking powder or baking soda listed. I'm going to try this recipe but I'll add 1 teaspoon of baking powder. I'll let you know how it goes.
Yea first

Did i miss the coffee
I’m surprised there is no crumb topping? And no baking powder or baking soda.
I thought this was a paula deen ytp
I was taught that sugar is a "wet" ingredient.
It's technically a dry ingredient, but most always mixed with wet, so it distributes evenly and cuts down on mixing time, creating more airy end result, so, considered part of wet ingredients. It turns into a liquid state when heated, so scientifically, considered wet. Lol, depends on who you talk to!
You are correct sugar is a wet ingredient not dry. Just like butter when cold seems solid it melts with heat, so does sugar.
@Stacey you say "technically" it is dry then say "scientifically" it is wet? Those two words are interchangeable so your statement seems confounded.
@@irienerd8178 Sugar is obviously dry, so that's technically. It changes when heated, so that's the science part of it.
@@stacey5925 no ma'am sugar is technically/scientifically wet. To say "technically" means scientifically btw. I love Paula but I mailed her a Christmas card, reached out to Eddie and asks her to read the card on video, he said she would. Didn’t do it.
Paula..love all your videos but please realize there is a very annoying background noise...is it air conditioning?
FYI...when baking, sugar (granulated white & brown) is a wet ingredient.
But where is the coffee?
It's spatula not spatulr
I don’t know about that runny nose and not washing hands.🤢
I'm sorry, but it doesn't look that good. It looks too dry and... I don't know... too floury, if you know what I mean.
