You guys must have all been chiseled jawlined sports teams captains that never had to go through puberty. Junpei did. He literally was going through it when he was transported to the Digital World. Also, reminder that it was his low self-esteem issues and bullying that made him stress eat and why he was overweight? Which was a vicious cycle of eating because people hate you and people picking on you because of your weight. Anyways, I personally love the song and how hard Junpei is trying to get over his insecurities. Hands down best character in the group not only was he the brains but he also sacrifice himself to save Tomoki, Takuya and Zoe twice. To the underdog of the Frontier team!

I’m an outisider and I believe he’s the best character of the whole frontier. I couldn’t care less about bland Takuya and Kouji
