Randy Drews I'd assume that SMM1 has an input buffer, which would virtually improve your chance by the buffer length. But your second jump input wouldn't be counted as one
Sorry to be a statistics stickler, but I have some issues with the math here... @IKTeam: This probability assumes that the input is needed and given on particular frames within the same second. I don't see how we could practically place bounds on an interval containing these frames. We do measure frame rate per second, but that is independent of a player's reaction times (which I think can better inform a time interval). @Randy Drews: If inputs are given on every other frame, then there is a 50% chance that an input is given on the single frame which needs the input. The number of buttons for an input only affects this probability through how frequently they allow the input to be pressed.
That’s a lost page of Ryu’s “Hot Garbage” arc. Ryusei chooses the famous Mr. Kahr for one mission: taking the garbage out of here. Sei trained Kahr with this and so many other levels, there was a lot of suffering but, every life wasted was worth it. When Mr. Kahr becomes “ryukahr”, Ryusei retires and passes away... or not? (All of this happened before the “Hot sponge” arc and the “Nigel Kahr” arc.

I love this series. Ryu I think you’re doing a great job, playing different games and mixing it up. I would love it if you kept this series going even more. Thank you man
It would not be the same anyways 😕 the fact that they changed certain things like mid-airs, shell jumps, hitboxes of different objects etc. makes it so that any insane difficult level from Mario Maker 1 (like the one he gave up on in this episode) would be nearly impossible in Mario Maker 2, in that case, I think the "endless" mode is a pretty good format, because the overall difficulty decreased. But I agree they could at least gave us 50 lives or even 100, if it's "endless" anyways and any extremely difficult level will probably end the run no matter how many lives you have.
@@intheshadowofathousandbean563 It's possible, I think it just takes more work. Plus it seems the community, being a little larger, is less populated by the hardcore gamers/sadistic trolls who came to populate MM1 at the end of it's life.
Speaking personally, seeing you play SMM1 helped me realize how much more interesting it is to watch that compared to SMM2, at least in regards to the "X Lives" stuff. Main reason being that it's fun to watch and see if you win (sometimes it doesn't happen, but sometimes it does, and it's exciting to find out which it is). With SMM2's Endless, it's just watching you play until you inevitably lose. Plus the level quality in SMM1 fluctuates hard compared to SMM2; the hot garbage in SMM2 is usually just lame levels. The hot garbage in SMM1 takes hot garbage and turns it into an art form. It's much more interesting to see. SMM2 Endless is overall a bit better to PLAY, I think, but in terms of actually watching (which is what all of us are doing), these last few SMM1 videos have been way more fun to watch. But, again, that's just me.
SMM1 levels seem so much more unique, since theres no voting system. Imo, most of the levels in SMM2 are the same overused tricks that you see on every level, with just enough decoration and checkpoints for people to go 'well, I guess that level was fine' and give it a like.
Yeah the fact that is has no story (even if it's the age old Bowser kidnaps Peach) still means there's a time for closure. Smm2 is literally Play till failure.
I don’t agree. 100 lives is more fun to play to me and less fun to watch. Whether or not a streamer/TH-camr wins it doesn’t matter, they could just start another run, winning doesn’t do or mean anything. Well besides costumes but come on now. I watch for the gameplay and clutch moments which endless does bring out a lot more.
