"We always begin every day with no guarantees." Beautiful words of wisdom, my friend. Thank you for bringing us along on your quest to find nature. We are privileged to be a part of your world.
SAME!! I could not stop crying!! I love Carlos, he never disappoints. The footage he captured of the newborn great white baby is one of my favorites and the Guadeloupe Island post. I would love to go there someday. I'm definitely a big fan of his work!! 😊
This was amazing. And to see the two Orca babies! 😍😍😍😍 Such a beautiful moment and I understand that it felt incredible. And to also be able caught a Great White Shark too. Thanks for another beautiful video. ❤
What an incredible day and beautiful video from my favorite photographer. It is amazing how you put together such beautiful memories and helps people understand these incredible creatures. Thanks so much my friend.
Look at the size of that Dorsal, it’s huge! Orcas and GWS’s are like oil and water. It’s been 9 years since the Orcas kicked the GWS’s out of Haansbai and False bay, South Africa. Just beautiful video, it makes me smile knowing we have all this beauty in the World! This should have been on #Sharkweek!
Another amazing video Carlos 👌 Looks like you had a fantastic time seeing the Orca's and a Great White Shark all in one day.. wow! What an Apex Quest! Thankyou for all of your hard work and sharing it with us all 🦈 Love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
Thank you for making my day brighter again Carlos! I’m always overjoyed to watch the magic happen in the ocean. Family outings for the Orcas was beautiful, like meeting up with your family and friends for a day out. That made feel a bit sad for the shark 🦈 who was all alone, even though they like to be. Here’s me putting my human qualities on the apex predators of the sea 😂 When I watch them so much, I fall in love with them all. I appreciate your work so much Carlos. ❤
I was beginning to wonder if the Orca hunted Sharks but then you mentioned they go for the warm blooded mammals. Whew. Knowing what a shark lover you are I didn't think you'd want to see that. Thanks for putting us in the moment with you.
Love your channel! I Learned from another Orca channel there are “2” types of Orca’s: Coastal Orca’s travel in larger pods it’s all about family and are more particular about what they eat. Then there’s deep water Orca’s that don’t travel along the coast they’re more transient and travel in groups of four-ish or less, and eat anything and everything, little more of a vicious mindset. 🌎
Ohmyword how glorious!!! Dolphins are one of my 3 spirit animals...and whales are so close to my heart and actually in dolphin family. WOW...this brought tears to my eyes! The sharks...so incredible. Huge breaths just now, and I've been finding it hard to get big deep breaths the last few days...so thank you! The ocean feels like home, to me. Just stunningly astounding in the beauty.
That was absolutely incredible at one point I felt like I was there. It has been a while since I have been on your page for some reason I lost you but I’m glad I found you again. Absolutely incredible
My two favourite animals on the planet!!! 😍😍 Ive been lucky enough to dive/swim with both on separate occasions but to see both in one day would just be unbelievable
Wow that's so cool 15 orcas close together & 2 being newborns. I noticed that their white spots are always much darker when they're babies. I enjoyed this very much thanks!👏💯🥳
So breathtaking! I love your videos that allow a whole different perspective of these incredible animals. Do you know what kind of orcas they were? I recall you were able to find out the names of a couple of them. Also, I'm curious about something... I don't know how your camera works so I'm not certain if it gets down close to the water or just zooms in. Do the orcas ever see/watch the camera? Would they follow it if it had a certain color on it? Just wondering if they would interact with it or observe if they weren't busy socializing or hunting. Anyways, thank you for another amazing video!
Thats the orcas downfall, orcas will go extinct in 10 years do to pollution, over fishing and what ever else humans do that will lead to their extinction soon.
Well I do love sharks and I know that they are your passion, orcas are mine. I wish that there was somebody like you, dedicated to orcas the way you are to sharks. I thank you for any coverage that you do give us of imo, the most majestic creatures on the face of 8the earth.
❤Such Beautiful Creatures!!! We have a small pod visiting as of lately in Washington State, Hood Canal inlet, small pod showing up weekly to hunt over this past year. TRULY AMAZING FOOTAGE!! TY MUCH!!
Im Alaskan, but i live along the hood canal in Washington now, and whenever i go swimming, i try to find seals and orcas, and sometimes ill just float with my ears under water so i can hear them. Theres nothing like hearing orcas communicate, the only thing better to me would be to hear humpbacks singing. The way you feel the sound in your bones is so cool❤ nature is amazing
While vacationing in Victoria BC, I went on a whale watch and was able to see beautiful orcas right next to our boat. One turned on his back and went under the boat right next to where I was sitting. Got great pictures and I’ll never forget it.
Could it be that some of the orcas are related, such as the 2 males being brothers, and the 2 pod families came together to "see the new baby", just as a human family would do after a birth. Since they are such social creatures, and both pods had a small infant with them, could it be feasible that the youngsters were being introduced to extended family members and they had got together for a "play date" ? I may be attributing far too many human actions towards this event, but what if it was the case and pods did come together after one of the females had produced offspring and he/she was in fact shown off to extended family in case anything happens to the pod : "This is Auntie Fiona and Uncle Mike. If anything happens to us, you go and find them and they will look after you O.K !"
Thanks for the beautiful videos that you post on your channel. It seems to me that you’ve put your drones to use in a genuinely helpful way. The fact that marine biologists are using your videos to extend their own knowlege of behavioural characteristics of these beautiful creatures. As I write this note, I am sitting on Polzeath beach in Cornwall UK. Perhaps I should use my drones for the same pursuit. We have lots of Basking Sharks, Mackerel or Porbeagle Sharks, Blue Sharks (once you’re in pelagic waters) and a host of other marine animals (dolphins etc.). There has been one sighting by marine biologists of a White Shark off the Scilly Isles. There was a video of it on TH-cam. But it has been taken down for some reason. The theory is that we have perfect waters for them now Northward towards Scotland which has one of the largest Sesl populations in the world. Add to that average sea temperature rises and who knows. They might become a fixture in our waters. Great vids. Fantastic.
Could it be possible that the two pods came together, to show off their babies or to teach their babies to socialise/become familiar with the other orca's ? I have to say what an incredible sight, seeing them all.
If you go to TheYachtChef on TH-cam, Chef Dean filmed a group of Orcas kill a great white live in drone. He obviously works as a yacht chef and was on a sailing yacht when he got the video.
Cool video I have a DJI mini 4 and 2 weeks ago I film some cape cod seals was looking for sharks in the area but didn’t see any but posted a few on TH-cam definitely look at
To witness these magnificent orcas in their natural environment brings joy to my heart and when I think of those that are captive 🤬 such a tragedy … as for the shark, well that’s just an overwhelming fear
The Farallon Islands are a HOTBED for GWS in California and there is undisputed facts these magnificent creatures enter the Golden Gate, PLEASE get some footage of it!
so these were Bigg's or Transient Orcas? not the critically endangered resident orcas? also thank you for another beautiful video. I wish I could go. I have been on three whale watches and have seen Fin whales and Humpback whales.
I've had the privilege of going whale watching off Southern Cali, Monterey Cali, and Hawaii and have seen blue whales, humpback whales, bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, Rissos dolphins, gray whales, and minke whales. What eludes me and is my bucket list cetacean are Orcas. I would absolutely lose it. But whale watching is hit-and-miss...my wife and I went whale watching off Monterey, Cali in the hopes of seeing Orcas because they had been reported and viewed in the area just a few days prior but they had moved on or were in another part of the Bay that day. We did however witness humpback whales bubble-net feeding several times, saw Rissos dolphins and a few ocean sunfish that day.
Your editing, music and video captures are all amazing. Bonus is you’ve got a perfect voice for it.
Thanks so much 😊

Go vegan this is the best way to protect our oceans
That was so beautiful to read
❤ wow. That male was huge and the baby so small! I bet some friends were jealous lol you are going to need a bigger boat!
Just don't get a yacht- Orca's aren't too fond of yachts😁😂
There's a day that you're not going to be forgetting anytime soon. Hope you get even more, thanks for the content.
Thanks for bringing the wonder of these creatures to us!

Thanks for putting us in the moment with you.
They have been known in certain areas to target them but only take their liver

Orcas are amazing creatures so intelligent. Master hunters. And so gentle to humans. Shows how powerful they are.
Thats the orcas downfall, orcas will go extinct in 10 years do to pollution, over fishing and what ever else humans do that will lead to their extinction soon.
What harbor did you leave from Ventura, Oxnard or MDR? Thanks for going out and capturing this great footage
All i can hear is Kiri(avatar 2) saying "the ocean blessed you with a gift, brother" ❤❤❤ how incredible
I've watched your videos for about a year, I'm glad you're branching out to cetaceans....Orcas are my favorite mammal.
Beautifully filmed.
Hey Carlos absolutely freaking awesome! I was wondering if you've seen cuts on orcas dorsals or body's like the white sharks, cause they look scar free
Beautiful footage 💙
