There's no need to worry about the timing chain getting insufficient oil after blocking off the chain oil feeds .
There's plenty of oil coming out of the front of the number 1 main bearing and their numerous other engine families this way.
I've done it in street driven and raceing engines with no I'll effects.

looks like a 600 plate main body is the same 600/650, no need to count the value of the tools
