Your video content is brilliant. One minute you are explaining you years of engineering experience, then a mix of nostalgia from days gone by.. and now to top it off i have had the pleasure of you taking us for a spin in the frog eye around Brands Hatch. I follow many channels and yours is in my top favourites. You really show us when the rubber hits the road. Thanks Ivan, John and Tanya. Stay well and bedt wishes from Australia
Not a thing wrong with this video. Well done. Great in cockpit view. We could clearly see the car interior (beautiful by the way). We could clearly see everything Ivan was doing to drive the track. We had a great driver's view of the on track racing and had great audio of the car as it revved. Anybody saying this was a "crap" video is simply a troll and/or knows little to nothing about racing. We say keep up the good work Sir and Madame.
Here here! And that's before we knew about the problems they had getting there and the plug problem, although the car sounded great right up until it stalled !
Well done to Tanya, great editing, not so well done Ivan with the plugs. Channel is great as it is, a bit of everything. Stories, engineering and some track...
Tanya's footage only showed just how hard it is to cover 1.2 miles of race track with 1 camera, absolutely no worries about the quality. Whatever you put up on this channel is fine by me, it is fascinating viewing. Keep on keeping on.
I love all your vids, the engineering side interest me most, it's your unique approach to problems and words of wisdom that do it for me. So more of that is always welcome.
You don't need to apologise for offering free content Ivan... I love your videos in all their forms... Some are better than other, just like everybody else's channels... Well done to all the Shed Racing team...
Thoroughly enjoy all your videos Ivan. Particularly putting the Sprite through its paces at Brands Hatch . Ok, so the old girl had a problem, but that's motor racing. I wouldn't worry about about the odd negative comment, they are not out there doing it ! Great video. Thank you.
It was nice to "drive" round the club circuit again, I did all my racing there prior to 1963. My hasn't the track altered, back then paddock was a very tricky bend, it was much tighter and had a really nasty adverse camber. Also we took a completely different line round druids and crossed over track coming down pilgrims drop to line up for bottom bend. Those curbs weren't there either. The video certainly brought back the memories.
Your living my dreams, and sharing it. Don't go ruining it by trying to make it it all fancy and polished. No one else has your real content. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Ivan, I like the workshop stuff but the racing is fun too. It's your channel, you put out what you enjoy. Tanya is doing a great job and is a real credit to the channel. Best wishes, Dean at Retromeccanica, Oxfordshire.
Videos are Great! As an old one from Iowa USA it is great to see someone enjoying life . Tanya , IVAN and JOHN keep up the good work if you are having fun , record it and everyone will enjoy ! Thanks Phil
Great video Ivan, any novice racer would be interested in being talked around a new circuit like you have done.Tell us more about your days racing saloon cars against Gerry Marshall & Tony Lanfranchi,
Great video Ivan, and good film work from Tanya. Really enjoyed that as it reminded me of riding around Brands on motorcycles many years ago. Looking forward to your workshop videos, I am in my element there!
got to say love it no matter what the content is Ivan i myself appreciate the efforts you and your crew go to , bringing a slice of motor sport and some serious engineering to our front rooms , i hope one day to see you race , and a big well done to your camera lady for her work , some people need to remember this is not a film crew from the TV this one lady trying her very best with quite modest video recording equipment , Ivan just keep doing what your doing look forward to your next video
The channel evolution has been a bit torturous due to rascals and schemers, but is still brilliant today. I’m reminded that when next in the UK i need to make time to visit a proper race course as I’ve done in Germany and Belgium. Ivan, thank you for showing….and sharing…how to run a race course!
Good video, thanks. Just keep sharing as much as your happy too. I'd be really happy with a few, walk around and story on each of the various cars you're happy to share. Maybe just a lap of the paddock, the Salmson 4 push rod video was good. This video was excellent, when it's just the 2 of you.
Nice job Tanya. Clear Hi Def video. Good views of the car and track. Just a shame about the Old un's car. Would have been nice to see how competitive it was against that grey mouse that past you Ive. Take care all.. Best wishes from the Forest of Blackness.
I saw the original video and all it needed ideally was a quick "top and tail" to explain that you were going to be going slowly behind the pace car for a few laps, then to explain the car issue. The camera-work and editing itself were very good, the position from the car excellent, and your commentary behind the pace car was spot-on. It was pretty obvious the car wasn't happy so it's nice to hear now what the problem was. Having said all that, I really enjoy your stories as well, and today's about John Lyon was no exception. I love driving at Brands, and if you ever do one of the GP circuit your commentary round the back would be really useful!
Nothing wrong with video, Great views of the track and lines through the corners etc: As we all know its very hard on the day to get everything going to plan. Well done to Tanya for editing. keep up the good work Ivan we all need the encouragement to get out there.
Sitting here in Brisbane with a streaming cold & feeling lousy and then Ivan says "...but don't forget.. to(?)..." That's the best laugh I've had this week; classic! Good on yer Ivan, keep it up. Now were was I?
It would have been interesting to see an inset showing speed and revs from time to time at key moments. Very enjoyable video, no quality problems really.
Great video & nothing wrong with the editing. I'd be interested to know the spec (engine, gear box , running gear) for the Frog Eye, have you covered this on a previous video?
Seriously, I don't know why you are bashing on Tonya? I think she's given the channel in editing a professional quality that was lacking before. I've freelanced in video and was quite active in the Nor-Cal region of the Shelby club since 1980. I've produced open track videos and I think this, and especially the last video were awesome. You've struck gold with Tonya. But I fear you will have to stop talking about having bikini girls on video from now on. Not PC😮😮😮.
I didn't think there was anything wrong with the video at all, what were they complaining about? In any case, it is only U Tube, why take it so serious? I enjoy listening to you talk about your life and times, you have done a lot of interesting stuff in what was a very interesting era. I am sure others feel the same.
Like to have seen the prep and mechanics of the car and less racing on all these classics like you did with the lotus 7.ps. Great work with the camera.
he explained a few months ago how he had to go for proper medical to re new his race licence , no mean feat at any age they are very serious about the level of fitness required
WTF? I loved that video!!!! That car sounded cool as hell. That girl did a good enough job for a youtube video. This aint the BBC you konw. Put out what you can and screw the jack ass hole whiners. Good job Girl!! Keep it up and thanks for doing it.
I thought the footage at Brands was great, nothing wrong with it at all, it was obvious that the car was off a pot, but nothing wrong with the video! Some people just like moaning, fekk em! Phil
I didn't think that the vid was bad. to me it was the god awefull terrible annoying background repitive noise, called music, just bangs pops and clicks ain't music
Keep them coming Ivan - thanks for all your hard work Tanya

Great work editing this video, Tanya! Hope there will be more as these videos here)
Well done to Tanya, great editing, not so well done Ivan with the plugs. Channel is great as it is, a bit of everything. Stories, engineering and some track...
Feeling very tired?
@@mikesage9544 oh yes Mike, we watch a few channels in common
Tanya's footage only showed just how hard it is to cover 1.2 miles of race track with 1 camera, absolutely no worries about the quality. Whatever you put up on this channel is fine by me, it is fascinating viewing. Keep on keeping on.
Love this guy. National treasure.

I like the shop stuff, but I'll watch whatever you put up. Cheers
You don't need to apologise for offering free content Ivan... I love your videos in all their forms... Some are better than other, just like everybody else's channels... Well done to all the Shed Racing team...
Thankyou Ivan, interesting story, excellent racing & well done Tanya for getting it all filmed
Thank you for all your effort. Please thank Tanya, her effort is also appreciated. Grazie Mille
Thoroughly enjoy all your videos Ivan. Particularly putting the Sprite through its paces at Brands Hatch . Ok, so the old girl had a problem, but that's motor racing. I wouldn't worry about about the odd negative comment, they are not out there doing it !
Great video. Thank you.
Just hanging out to watch your videos Ivan, it's all interesting stuff, no frills, just great old fashioned "boys stuff"...
Great bit of top and tailing, Ivan - as you say, we all love a story! And the talk-through on the lap was what we were hoping for. Many thanks!
You're a great bloke you give everyone a chance even the new people
Fresh oil & a Red-X gargle before bedtime, with new plugs & a well spirited five mile canter for breakfast; it'll be fine : )

I really need to get back on the track, but reality has thrown me a curve ball. Next year I'll be back.
Great video Ivan!! Good driving and oh so awesome the cars you have...
Think all your videos are good keep it up ,look forward to the next one
Ivan anything you put out is of interest to me great vids great history lesson 👍👨🏻🏭
This is a great video. This is a track day not a race, every line was perfect and the little car ran beautifully 👍
Ivan, I like the workshop stuff but the racing is fun too. It's your channel, you put out what you enjoy. Tanya is doing a great job and is a real credit to the channel.
Best wishes, Dean at Retromeccanica, Oxfordshire.
Nothing wrong with the video, thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks to Tanya for piecing it together.👍👍
Always well worth a look, Ivan...and your commentary about the line at Brands is very interesting. Well done to Tanya too.
Great channel !! Don't change anything. Love the mix of activities. Good luck, and thanks for sharing so much.
Videos are Great! As an old one from Iowa USA it is great to see someone enjoying life . Tanya , IVAN and JOHN keep up the good work if you are having fun , record it and everyone will enjoy ! Thanks Phil
Great video Ivan, any novice racer would be interested in being talked around a new circuit like you have done.Tell us more about your days racing saloon cars against Gerry Marshall & Tony Lanfranchi,
Ivan you’d never make a politician - you keep apologising ! Watching you make a cup of tea and talk is good enough for most of us !
I thought the video was great as I was there with you racing. It was thrilling. You even gave us a story which adds to the video. Nice driving!
Nice to see the track from the high pov. No blasted cut aways all the time. No blabbing either.
I don't know what you are on about that video is great, love being talked around Brands!
I loved this video.Well done Tanya. Thank you Ivan.
Sounds like some of my trips to the rifle range after a long week on the tools. All part of the fun 🙂!
Great video Ivan, and good film work from Tanya. Really enjoyed that as it reminded me of riding around Brands on motorcycles many years ago. Looking forward to your workshop videos, I am in my element there!
I enjoyed it. Stuff happens a bit of footage afterwards from the pit garage would have been nice.
Now I've been round Brands Hatch. Thanks Ivan.

I really enjoyed the video. I'm getting into classic racing and this was very informative. Thank you Mark
Keep up the good work Tanya a very watchable video.

Brilliant video. Nothing more to say just brilliant
A few cars with more Horse Power, didn't see many drivers with more HP than you.
Excellent video. Lots of fun. Good tips.
Tania does a superb job.
Excellent video, thanks. I have no clue why anyone would criticise this!
Nothing wrong with video, Great views of the track and lines through the corners etc: As we all know its very hard on the day to get everything going to plan. Well done to Tanya for editing. keep up the good work Ivan we all need the encouragement to get out there.
Nothing wrong with the vid, she has done a grand job. Love the Sprite, nice to see it being driven on the track.
Shame on those who judge these videos on video quality, l watch shed racing for the content. Keep it up Tanya, l love it.
Let's put Tanya up for a BAFTA ! She's doing a fantastic job !
Sitting here in Brisbane with a streaming cold & feeling lousy and then Ivan says "...but don't forget.. to(?)..." That's the best laugh I've had this week; classic! Good on yer Ivan, keep it up. Now were was I?
Nice just the thing we all want to be doing at his age
Wonderful ❤️👍
Superb well done young man enjoyed emmencly. Wish I could spell lol
Best video of the lot . Good luck
Great video. Always much appreciated.
Don’t worry about the videos, nothing wrong with that and seen much worse! Entertaining talk around the track etc. Keep putting the videos out 👍
Proper video honest and down to earth. Could have added in some of the van issues for extra content
Nothing wrong with the new format - Tanya's doing a great job!
It would have been interesting to see an inset showing speed and revs from time to time at key moments. Very enjoyable video, no quality problems really.
Who else would like to see Ivan taking one of the new continuation Bentley Speed Sixes for a 'little thrash around the track'?
Great video & nothing wrong with the editing. I'd be interested to know the spec (engine, gear box , running gear) for the Frog Eye, have you covered this on a previous video?
your videos are the best!

Ivan, there's not a lot to dislike about this video & heaps to like! Well done Tanya I say
Like to have seen the prep and mechanics of the car and less racing on all these classics like you did with the lotus 7.ps. Great work with the camera.
Surely TH-cam could screw this up more with a few more adds
Это может звучит странно, но в любительских простых "невылизанных" видео есть своя привлекательность.
top notch :-)
What sort of bird is a "Brand" and do they also hatch elswhere?
Sounds like you need to adjust that clutch master cylinder
I see nothing wrong here. Gave it the beans while it was out there.
Good show.
What was the misfire? A great drive.
Nothing you nor Tanya need apologize for. This was fun, as all your vids are.
Ivan must one pass a physical exam to participate in that activity?
Keep up the good work, I enjoyed the video!
JIM 🥰
he explained a few months ago how he had to go for proper medical to re new his race licence , no mean feat at any age they are very serious about the level of fitness required
Was that drive shaft uni that let go?
WTF? I loved that video!!!! That car sounded cool as hell. That girl did a good enough job for a youtube video. This aint the BBC you konw. Put out what you can and screw the jack ass hole whiners. Good job Girl!! Keep it up and thanks for doing it.
What engine is in your Sprite Ivan?
That was good…
Maniac! :-)
I thought it is a great video. Nuts and Bolts and winding noises. Gee Ha! Gpx
I thought the footage at Brands was great, nothing wrong with it at all, it was obvious that the car was off a pot, but nothing wrong with the video! Some people just like moaning, fekk em!
