4 cylinder turbines sound like somebody eating one too many morning bean breedles.
I’m guilty of the tire poke big time. Also I’ve tinted the windows and added a crazy sound system. The lift isn’t too high though.
It only implies in states that do safety inspections.If you live in a real red state like I do, they don't even care if you have a check engine light on, you can even drive around with open headers.
With window tint darker then the legal limit, Your insurance co. may deni coverage in the event of an accident claiming impaired visibility.

I almost got a ticket for my 21 Tacoma for having LED bulbs, that in the old style halogen lights housing he just told me to change it back and he will just give me a warning. So I did it. So in in a few months, later my 23 Tacoma that my dealership allocated for me. came with factory LED headlights.
What was his reasoning?

What I think is hilarious! Those dealerships that sell Rocky Ridge and Black Widow conversions. Or even those duallies! Without mud flaps, that's illegal in most states. Ever hear of the dealers or automakers being fined? I own a few hotrods! One is a T-bucket, and there's no fenders. Another has a tunnel ram and blower sticking out a foot above the hood. Finally, another thing that is stupid is emissions. Most states require them in some counties, but not others. Like those people who don't need emissions, don't drive the counties that do require them. If I remember correctly, my 1991 F-150 couldn't pass emissions unless you took it back to the Ford dealership.
Why would the dealers be fined? They sell these things for off-road use only. It’s the owner who is liable.

Had a few around with poke of eight to twelve inches. Haven't see them for a while but they did throw up a lot of junk. Always stayed far behind. SC did away with the trucks with the front so far up in the air you wondered how they saw where they were going.
How about not SAE lighting?

Washington state you can have your side widows at 24 percent mine are 20 percent your tire poke is not that bad on your Tacoma it looks very good especially with the wheels you have good video Rob 🎉🎉

I get the tire poke thing, but I own a few hotrods that don't have fenders at all, and they're legal. Most states do emissions by county. It's not like people who don't need emissions don't drive in counties that require them. I own another vehicle that has a tunnel ram and blower that sticks up a foot out of the hood. If I'm caught speeding, the cops can't tack on extra fines for that. You look at some of these dealer equipped conversions from Rocky Ridge or Black Widow. They're not actually compliant to state and local laws. Have you ever heard of an automaker getting fined for building illegal vehicles. I had an F-350 dually. Supposedly, that vehicle must have mud flaps standard, but they're optional. The Ford dealership let that vehicle roll off their lot without them. Shouldn't they be fined? In most states, if a vehicle is beyond 15 years old, they're exempt on emissions control requirements. Technically, that vehicle doesn't need cats or mufflers. In some places, that is illegal, and others, it is not. I have a few vehicles with electronic cut-outs, and that's pretty much legal anywhere. If a cop stops you, just flick the switch.
