@@bobdepledge5929 cheers Bob, glad you enjoyed it and you were able to relieve the memories. I’ll be honest I nearly had a tear in my eye while putting it together
I love stories like these and will happily watch anything else like this that you can put together. As the saying goes, "Every dog has its day." I want to hear more "dog" related stories, please and thank you. 😃😃❤️❤️❤️😃😃
Great video I was 18 at ibrox in 1994 for the final. One of the best days of my life. I rem raith going behind late on I'm sure it was Andy walker goal. The crowd went a bit flat. Myself and another guy started saying come on its not over we can win this. When we scored we jumped up and down with each other on the stairs. Dalziel hero. Brilliant times. I'm from Glasgow. Went to Partick that night with my Girlfriend of the time. Didn't buy a drink in the Rangers pubs. Lol Never more proud to have my Raith scarf on than that day.
Class video Callum, your best yet. I was too wee to have been at the cup wins in '06 and '12, and we've lost every cup final since. One day, hopefully soon I'll get to see my team lift a cup in person.
As an Ayr fan I have a vague memory of us play8mg rovers at Somerset the game after they won. I could be wrong but remember applauding as a 15 year old with the team providing a guard of honour If I’m wrong there’s def a memory of doing that with another wee team My now wife was there and indeed in Iceland and Munich the following season with her father and future chairman Turnbull and has fond memories
Love these Scottish football tales and mini documentaries. I have not looked in your channel for you have anything on my beloved Fort William or about the rise and fall of Gretna?
As a Raith fan, I've always wonder about that Bayern Munich game and that 1-0 score line at halftime, I have thought it has been one of the great 'what if' stories if Raith had somehow managed to beat them has always lived rent free in my head. Actually, you should do a video of alternate history moments of Scottish football which would be good to see.
@CallumBlyth Oh yes, what if Hearts won the title in 1986 or 2006 maybe? What if Dundee United won the UEFA Cup in 1987? What if Rangers hadn't gone under in 2012 or what if Celtic HAD gone under in 1994 or what if Wallace Mercer had merged Hearts and Hibs in 1990? Honestly it all writes itself and that's not including the National team such as what if Billy Bremner had scored against Brazil in 1974, what if Scotland had gone to the World Cup in 1950 or qualified in 1966. Seriously, there is potential for a video or videos on the matter.
Would Alfie make a 45 minute video documenting how a second tier side won a major trophy against one of that nations biggest clubs? He probably would actually, especially if it was Hull
We are terrible for the levels of cynicism in Scotland. Oh lets worship the "old firm" the usual cliches. Its soooo annoying and we encourage the cliches!!! Its 11 v 11 if you play tactically to the best of your ability you can do anything!!!!! This proves it beyond doubt!!!!!
Callum, that was a brilliant watch. Great content. Literally had tears in my eyes again, 30 yrs on, when Thomson saved McStays pen. Well done 👍

@CallumBlyth correction was Nicholas that scored Celtics 2nd. But who cares.
I absolutely needed a video like this, brilliant work mate 👏🏼
Thanks Callum - amazing memories!!!
I’d imagine they were, beating Rangers at Easter Road is probably the closest we’ve got to that feeling since

The challenge cup is probably the closest I’ll get to witnessing something like this
Not a Raith Rovers fan but thoroughly enjoyed this....the delight on all your faces was obvious 😁
