We’ve taken the White Pass and Yukon 4 or 5 times. The first time was in 1980 and the train went to Whitehorse. For this kid, it was a great trip. And it’s still a great trip. Highly recommend 🚂

Already have my family’s train trip in Skagway scheduled for September.
Thanks for showing me what we missed out on. We did a 7 day Alaskan cruise on Holland America Niew Amsterdam in 2016 but unfortunately didn't get to dock in Skagway due to bad weather.
These short scenic videos only seem to come via email rather than from TH-cam, correct? I cast them to my big screen TV and WOW!!! What a great trip.

Hey Gary, in the reserved class carriage, what's the best side to sit on? Are the seats reserved as you mentioned there's only a limited amount of people. Also, do you pay for food/drink? Thanks. 👍
They aren’t running the premium carriage this season (not sure if gone forever) as not offered - I am here today and my booking was cancelled and only standard. It doesn’t matter which side if going up and down as when train goes back down now it does a loop so other side now has scenic side on way down. Saying that get the left hand side for way up if you can
I emailed the railway as I've got a cruise in Oct. They told me the premium carriage is only available to book thru the cruise line and cannot be booked direct. Many thanks.

I need some clarification before I "support" you... do the cruise lines and tour companies subsidize or discount your trips or do you pay for everything yourself?
If I have received a discounted or sponsored trip I have that on the video and description. So a mixture. As the channel grows and can make more from the ads and affiliate revenue can do more self-funded. I never do sponsored videos where cruise line or brand has say on the content. I have been asked but don’t want to go down that route like some TH-cam channels !
