I use multiple bags for similar items that you pack. In my liquid bag I carry shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, small bar of soap, toothbrush, small toothpaste, floss, hairspray, tweezers, nail clippers, nail file and my minimal make up- foundation/moisturizer, eyebrow pencil, eyeshadow, blush and makeup brushes and maybe my hairbrush. I always refill and keep this bag packed so I can grab and go. This is my no frills bag, it meets my basic needs with a little bit of makeup, I have given up on mascara as I have not found one that is waterproof or oil proof enough that doesn’t leave me in big black circle around my eyes. In another pouch I carry my first aid, medicines and things like insect repellent, sunscreen depending on the trip we are going on. In another pouch I carry the extras- sewing kit, flashlight, shout wipes, extra tissue packets, eyeglass repair kit, anything that I think would be nice to have but could live without. By having them in smaller pouches and not in one large bag it allows me to pack them it a small space, taking up less space than a lager bag would. My daily meds I pack in a small 3”x 4” pouch that has a plastic divided compartment container with days of the week, I have two of these so if I am honest longer than 2 weeks I will pack the meds in plastic bags and bring the organizer along and fill as needed. Also having it this way allows me to keep the majority of this in another space, freeing up space in the bathroom.

It looks like we have the same regional airport, so I know the struggle of needing to pack minimally on Allegiant, etc. Love your valet tray idea! I’ve used other small bags but your idea is better. Will be a new subscriber. 😊

I love to pack a couple valet trays too. I also will take a couple of over the door hooks for the bathroom so that I can hang my robe etc.
I prefer to use soft squishy bags for my toiletries and misc - I find that they can squeeze them in easier than the more shaped bags. I do like a hanging toiletry bag though for Europe though, or places that may not have as much counter space as I'm used to.

Hi. I have been enjoying your videos. Thank you for taking the time to share all of your travel experiences and good information. I've never traveled internationally but do have TSA precheck. Do you travel with all of the sample liquid products (like shampoo/conditioner/ moisturizer packets) in your solids bag without an issue? Also, something I've started doing is taking a few tiny binder clips for those sample packets which are sometime more than one use. That way I can close them up for the next time and not have them leak all over. Thanks for the videos!
Hi, Sue. Thanks so much for your kind words and for being here 🤗 I have never had an issue with taking the sample packets in my regular toiletry bag. For my last international trip, I did put the shampoo/conditioner packet in my liquids bag (because there’s a little more volume) but the smaller ones like eye cream or daily moisturizer, I packed in my regular bag without incident. Also, anything that has a wipe inside (like perfume, hand sanitizer, deodorant, or make up remover) never counts as a liquid. That’s a great thought to bring binder clips for the packets! Where are your travel bags from? I have never seen a toiletry bag that small before.
