And platform longevity. I'm still on AM4 with a 5800X3D! The number of years you can just upgrade your CPU for better performance instead of buying everything new is quiet insane.
I had not had a computer for around 5 years, and last year I built myself a new computer, I decided to go with the AMD AM5 platform, zero regrets man, and I know in 2, maybe 3 years, I can still get the latest AM5 processor.
sadly not everyone cant just "throw it into your rig" like you did since you'll need a new motherboard, and average users dont have extra motherboards lying around.
I dumped Intel from the Desktop Space ever since Athlon's came out 😊, I didnt like upgrading my motherboard everytime a new Intel processor comes out 😂...I didnt have much choice on the mobile space though 😅
I want to custom build a PC on a budget. I already have a GPU (RX 6800 XT) and almost chose Intel because of single threaded performance. Fortnite on my Bootcamp MacBook has been stuttering because the CPU is reaching 100% since the last update. My GPU runs on epic and high setting but now the CPU is the bottle neck.
this feels more like an ad i bought amd back in the day when there was a three way race for the cpu market intel, amd, and cyrix they all worked for what they were made for "CONSUMER" pc's but they all had their own issues i cant afford a new pc today but i cant believe there aren't any for both chips going into the future wink wink nudge nudge consumer's buy almost anything !!!!!!!!
I use AMD products. Their open source linux video drivers makes that brand a good choice if you use Linux. I would rather stick with a company that has values I support than one which does not. I do agree that this video is one sided. It's all praise with no actual data to use for comparisons.

@@lesp6055 All the pc's a built the last decade were AMD. Only intel in laptops and that's gonna change too with the new AMD apu's.

I bought my computer in 2018 with the first Ryzen cpus. Now i've upgraded to a new Ryzen almost 6 years later.
I am using both intel & amd but i get better multithreaded performance from AMD and a lot more stable & silent system

Q6600 was my last intel cpu. Switched to amd and never look back. Main reason was price. Amd offers me almost same performance at half price.
Looks like a badly produced paid video TBH.
Its an AI video..
@@ok-iy6pw ye, figured it out after posting a comment 😁
Bogus one sided video
So, what's the other side?
Ignore him, he's just salty he lost money in Intel shares.
Not our fault they suck and lie.
